maximum kahuna
Kg 4.2's seem to be the most popular Klipsch kg speaker for sale on e-bay. They are on there all the time. Do they sound different from the rest of the Kg line? You almost never see 4.5's for instance. Is there any thing particular to 4.2's that make people turn them over more frequently? fletcherkane
I don't know about the reason for the turnaround...actually, I have a pair of 4.2's and think they sound great. I have found that it is hard to come up with a decent pair of 4.2's...ie ones that haven't been beat on. I would ****** up a local pair in walnut if they surfaced. I would love to move my Forte's to a two channel system and use the smaller 4.2's in an all KG home theater...
oldtimer
Certain speakers tend to run in cycles on ebay. For a while there were lots of Quartets, sometimes there are lots of Forte II's, etc. I don't think it necessarily has anything to do with turn over but instead what sellers see selling and jump on the band wagon, keeping an eye out for a particular speaker to find and sell.
