Bill H.
I visited a new eating establishment yesterday. The copper Bar. I was listening to the highlights of the ND game and recognised that the sound was crisp and clear. Upon looking up at the Speakers, a Big smile came over my face upon discovering that low and behold they were using KLIPSCH RB 35's for their speaker system. The only question was why were they Upside down (attached to the walls) ? No one in the Bar could tell me why, or who had selected the Fine Speakers! Needless to say- you could clearly hear all the play by play............. So sad that ND got Trounced!.......:>}
Daddy Dee
Great story. There used to be a place in Little Rock, the White Water Tavern which had a pair of Khorns hung upside down in the corners. I thought it was in order to have the tweeter level approximating something closer to what one would have in a home listening area. Since they are up toward the ceiling, it makes sense that the tweeters would be the closest to ear level. Don't know if it would make much difference in every setting, but it could be helpful, IMO. colterphoto1
good catch there on the clear sound Bill! I guess you'll be frequenting that establishment then? If they were somewhat close to the ceiling, the upside down treatment could be to try to minimize early reflections. Some sound dude in Terre Haute knows his stuff! jt1stcav
Hell, I enjoy reading anyone's posts when it comes to discovering Klipsch loudspeakers in a public building outside of one's home! Cool discovery, Bill.

GregB
Jim - I suspect many of us have heard them outside the home at movie theatres and never even known! My Heresys have a very 'theater' sound. - GregB
