I don't think that is the issue. 1) if the digital input is NOT connected (digital input to the Behringer) the hiss is still present. 2) the pre-amp to amp connection is short & shielded. Also when I use the CD player directly to the pre-amp, (Behringer is NOT in the circuit) there is no hiss. Irt is proably not junk being picked up by a high impedance cable. The hiss is coming from the Behringer. Do others have this problem? If one is not using high efficiency speakers, you would probably not hear it.
