Klipsch Chorus speakers model CHR OO& Serial #s8816237-8816238.

These are in excellent condition with an oak finish. 101db. Very

efficient. SETs can drive these speakers. Ditto for the Speakerlab

Corner Horns. They have THE ELECTROVOICE T350 TWEETER! If you have the

space to accomodate them they will be the last speakers you will buy.

They were painted black and this is not their best feature but they are

rock solid and can be re-painted. $700.00 for each set of speakers or

both sets for $1300.00. Can deliver if you pay for the gas from Tacoma.

No camera but if you must have pictures I might be able to have a

friend take some . Thanks for looking at the ad.

this is in or around Tacoma

"T-350 on the left. K-77 on the right. But, I think Speakerlab called their version of the T-35 a "350".

There was also a H3500 designation for either the t-35 or the t-350.

One was marketed as a h350, the other as an h3500.

I have an old price list at the house and will look it up.

"The EV T-350 and the early K-77 chrome Alnico look alike, as EV supplied them"

The T-350 came in a few flavors.

You are right about the chrome and white version of the T-350 looking like the Chome and while version of the T-35.

A lot of folks bought the white and chrome version of the T-35 on ebay thinking they were T-350's.

I think I seen pics of the ones you have if it is the ones you once offered on the forum. If they have the 6 oz magenet, which I think they did, Those are T-35's. The T-350 have 16oz magnets.

Oh Man! 150 miles from me. What to do? what to do? (rhetorical question).

I'm not that far away (shipping wise) and have a better deal for you if you are interested.

I have everything to build a set of "ultimate K horns". Here is what I have:

2 factory built Speakerlab bass bins and drivers. These are factory

built and high quality. They are copies of the K Horn bass bin. They

are narrow on the sides because the later Speakerlab bass bins

eliminated an empty portion of the K Horn bass bin. This results in a

more "Jubilee looking" bass bin.

I also have AutoCAD drawing of a design for false corners that I

was going to build. They have a constant flare rate even around the

bend. They also should be very easy to build, especially compared to

the entire bass bin. It was going to use Cherry plywood.

I also have 2 JBL 2470 compression midrange drivers. The seller

told me that these have new phenolic diaphragms in them. They look to

be in new shape and test at something like 11 ohms or so.

I also have the plans to build a pair of Edgar Tractrix midrange

horns. They are built from wood and pretty straightforward. I was

going to use cherry Plywood for these too.

I also have 2 2404 Baby Cheek JBL Tweeters. Nice pro stuff. This

is the really expensive tweeter that some use on the Klipsch forum.

For a crossover I have a Yamaha D2040 professional digital

dividing network. This thing is unreal and sold for $3,000 new

(retail was $4,000). It is used but very nice. Should last forever

in a home system. I was going to build a cherry plywood cabinet for

it to make it match the speakers.

I also have two Teac AL700P 3 channel 30 wpc digital amps. One of

the channels on each can be monobridged so that the output will be 30,

30, 60 wpc. These amps sound amazing. I compared them directly to a

pair of Wright 3.5 SET's and my friend and I both liked the Teacs.

Basically, you would be set except for a CD player as the

crossover can work as a preamp. I used a Peach preamp with it and was

very happy.

I dont know if you have seen my Avitar but I built some beautiful

false corners. These would be similar but have narrower sides and a

flat top with the midrange horns displayed on the top, just like the

Jubilee. There is also a section on the front of the Speakerlab Bass

Bins to mount the Tweeters. They should be really beautiful when

done. If you are considering building bass bins, this will be much

easier and the result will be outstanding.

I want $1500 plus any shipping for everything. Should be able to

ship in two boxes by Fed Ex. The price is very low. The JBL Tweeters

are something like $275 each, the midrange drivers are really

expensive too. The replacement diaphragms alone are $250 each. You

will not be disappointed.

Let me know if you are interested.

Although I cannot do it now another idea for an ultimate set of khorns would be to go DSP computer based. Foobar 2000 has plugins for digital crossovers with time delay capability. Using multiple sound cards such as the (cheap) chaintech AV710 one could output the three channels to the amps and directly to the drivers.

I am already using the AV710 to output 92khz (upsampled) to the khorns. The most immediate result is the lower noise floor. The silence is deafening.

I would love to have someone try this.

As I was a bit curious about the size of T-350 compared to the K-77 Alnico, I asked Jim Hunter for his thoughts this morning.

It seems there where at least 3 different sizes one could find the EV tweeter, all marked T-350.

One larger as pictured in Bob's post, one the same size as the K-77 and one even a bit smaller than the K-77.

Jim suggested we have all three down in the museum in Hope.

I knew I had seen the T-350 the same size as the K-77 and it was chrome plated, too nice to be inside a cabinet was my first thought.
