Anyone know where I can get these relays??

I've tried Parts Express and that was a no go. The only other place that Google came up with was some where in Buenos Aires (sp).

I think the critical pice of info is the voltage and current for the trigger coil to close or open the relay. Once known, you could actually put in a relay with a larger contact rating...main issue is to feed the coil enough juice to close it on one hand while not soaking too much juice on the other (this could stress the driver circut).

I'm sure burried in this mess is the voltage needed. I found this on DigChip.com

You could go to www.carveraudio.com . I was able to purchase a xtal for my receiver through them. Site has all the info. I had the same problem with my speaker relays. Took them out and cleaned the contacts with a relay burnisher. Now if it starts to act up I just operate the speaker selector switch to self clean the contacts.

The www.carveraudio.com site said that their service dept was no more. Someone boought out all their stock and is now in the buisness. It is www.carveraudiorepair.com and teh business is called HI TECH SERVICES. I shot an e-mail to them and got a reply asking if mine was 6-pin or 8-pin. Well, that all depends on how you look at it. There are 6 pins (2 X 3) fasion like a domino tile with 2 more pins off to one side. I told them this by drawing it out with a Word.doc file and sending that to them. That was about 5 days ago with no response. Wonder if they have a firewall for such attachments...

Great!!

HI TECH AUDIO has some that are actually a little more durable than the Zettler's. I ordered 2 at $20 ea. + $13 for shipping (ouch, but hey they've got them).

I'll stretch out the life of the one's that are in there till they just flat out won't come on anymore then the new one's go in.[H]
