Juicy Music Merlin For Sale SOLD

Hi, I was directed to this forum by a friend, who told me that juicy music equipment is highly regarded by many users here. A discerning group, I'd say! I am selling my lightly used Merlin. It is in fine working condition, but does have a scratch on top, and a minor scratch on one wood side, so I would rate it a 7 or 8 out of ten. It has installed the Hal-O tube dampers. It will come in the original box, with manual. I can provide photos on request. I have not posted here before, but can direct you to my 100% positive feedback on ebay, or my 100% positive feedback on audiogon. It runs 895.00 new, and I'm asking 499.00, plus shipping from 53703. Paypal users add 3%. Cheers.

Just curious. What don't you like about Merlin? (other than it's less than glamorus apperarance) Have you tried Mullards or BB's?

Regards,

Terry

Hi Terry, I liked the Merlin a lot. I'm using it to drive some nearly 20 yo ProAc Supertowers, that you could describe as "warm" if you know what I mean. I had the opportunity to try a transformer based passive pre, and it was a better match with the ProAcs to my ear, so I've kept it, and am selling the Merlin. If I'd never heard the other one, I'd probably have kept the Merlin for 20 years. Sale is now pending on the Merlin, BTW. Cheers, g.
