Does my center channel choice matter that much??

OK, I am slowly adding pieces to my little home audio setup. So far I have:

Yamaha RX-V640 Receiver

Klipsch RB-15 bookshelf speakers

Klipsch RW-8 Subwoofer

Now considering getting the RC-52 vs. RC-62. I'm I going to notice a big difference in my setup and/or is it worth the extra $200 or so? Thanks for any thoughts.

If you plan on keeping your current setup for a long time the RC-52 would probably work out very well. If you plan on upgrading your main speakers in the near future the RC-62 would be a better choice as it would blend better with the new floorstanding reference series speakers than the 52 would.

I started out with the RC-25, then my friend got the RC-35. After hearing the RC-35, I was impressed at the improvement and bought it. Then a while later I came across a good price on the RC-7. I bought the RC-7 and WOW, that was an even more amazing upgrade.

After going through that, if you can afford top of the Klipsch line, go for it. You won't be disappointed.

my 2 cents...
