svsalako
I'm looking at all of these. I am conflicted as to whether it makes more sense to buy the heresy's, which by all accounts are fantastic, but old, or the RF3's which are much newer. What do you think? Sorry to keep asking, but the Heresy's I tried to buy got sold out from underneath me! Now I am back to ebay anhd craigslist. Anuy other suggestions as to sources? SilverSport
If they are Heresys and you think they need rebuilding (crossovers) this can be accomplished by you, Bob Crites (BEC) or others here for a fair price...I think the Heresys will best the others but I like the Heritage-three way sound...kg 4.5s are high up the scale of the kg line but...I think Heresys would have been the most expensive speaker when new...if that helps. Daddy Dee
I would lean toward the heresy, but that's a subjective preference for the heritage sound.
HudsonValleyNoah
Old Heresy all the way - The RF-3's are a fine HT speaker IMO. (And I own a few pairs) but with the choices you have listed, the 3 way Heresy would be my choice for 2 channel music listening. CL and Ebay will give you the most chances to score Old Heresy's. Keep at it and you will get your Old Heresy's. Good Luck, ~Noah
