customsteve01
Mine is plugged into my power conditioner / battery backup that all my other gear uses. But I will say I did shut my system down the other day while watching LOTR. I had to turn it down. I have been thinking of getting a seperate surge protector for the sub. Guest srobak
I have 2 of these on 2 different circuits going to my HT. They have a hi-power plug on them for amp, and another for receiver, so - plenty of support for my receiver and sub. http://www.amazon.com/o/ASIN/B00028CAJE/ref=nosim/102-8743729-6304960?SubscriptionId=09FVDRT8TEJ64C2A7Y02 That is a bit pricey for it though... masterxela
I had my lightning fry some of my gear plugged straight into the wall in an area I lived for 19 years and had never heard of anyone losing electronics. Now everythings in a tripp lite surge/conditioner My surge tells me the current draw, and I can't imagine pulling more than 12. I have a 550W projector, 500W computer, denon receiver,1500W pro amp all on the same line, and it never draws more than 12 amps. Yes, ohms law is violated
