afro2cool
Would it make a difference in the sound to have the whole F-52 wome theater system but upgrade the floor speakers to the RF-62's?
kcmcramer
Did you mean the RF-52 and not the F-52? I would assume since the RF-52 and the RF-62 utilize the same materials in construction (identical tweeters too), the differences in sound should be negligible. You'd gain some overhead as far as power goes (More output potential due to the larger woofers) The bass goes a tad deeper too on the 62s. I'm currently using the RF-62 mains with the RC-52 center. They blend extremely well together.
afro2cool
Yeah, I did mean the RF-52. That's the kind of info I was looking for. Wanted to know how the RF-62 towers sounded with the RF-52 center and surround speakers.
wuzzzer
For the most part the Reference series speakers will all blend together nicely with each other.

mfk
I was running the R?-52 system for a while(RF-52's, RC-52) including an RW-10D, gave me plenty of bottom end, which is kind of cool, the LFE out on my receiver really paid for itself.
