RamoIjjah
Hey guys, Just wondering if it's a bad idea to have 2 left and 2 right for a total of 4 front speakers..? I have RF-7's flanking RF-83's. I'm using external amps so driving the speakers isn't a problem at all. The RF-7's just look so pretty next to the RF-83's, I'd hate to move any of them to the surrounds. Plus it sounds pretty good at first look, but I haven't had a chance to really run them hard through my favorite movies and music. Should I bite the bullet and move a pair of these fronts!? Thanks! Groomlakearea51
I've done it (and still do) all the time. Since you have separate amps to drive them, you can "match" the gain and set the sound stage effect fairly easily. "Wall of Voodoo" effect. Works well. Several forum members have been to my home and have heard the system and agree that with separate amps the system works very well.
masterxela
I'd sell one pair and buy something else. Probably doors for my car.

TNRabbit
It's VERY bad! You must sell the RF-83s to me at a ridiculously low price immediately to atone for your audio transgression!![H]
Kynergy
Why not get a speaker selector and enjoy different fronts now and then?
