If you are a vinyl record fan Head-fi's logo for this year is in the spirit of vintage vinyl. Premium headphone amps in portable solid state and vacuum tube configurations will be a plenty.

If you are headphone enthusiast or just a permanent commuter who wants to zone out this may be your gig. Rooms are available at very good prices if you are travelling from OOT. The dates will be May 3-4. You can get more information from Head-Fi’s website.

Stick it in your ear!

Here is our artwork to help promote the event. My thanks to Matt Miller and Katie Voorhest for their help in putting this logo together. Pretty cool huh? Klipsch has alway been about heritage so this is a perfect match.

You will also want to note that there is a similar flavor here to our Klipsch Pilgrimage. Head-fiers love Tubes, Speakers and Partying! Go figure. So Saturday night there will be a Blues Band entertaining us all, but you must make your reservations quickly. Please see the links on Head-fi's website to find out more about this spectacular event where we will be making some new announcements.

Come join us in Ft. Lauderdale!

Enjoy that trip Professor, you should get a chance to hear the RSA Tomahawk, Justin's Pico amp with built in DAC not to mention someone might have RSA's new Predator amp which also has the built in DAC. These amps are great for desktop listening.

You may want to hear the Mier Audio amps along with Head Direct's MiniBoxE+. All these amps should really make the Klipsch line of IEM's shine[;)]

Funny you should mention that. I just received amps from Ray Samuels today after talking to him about trying them out for CanJam08. He sent me a Hornet, Tomahawk and a Predator. Nice amps! Good build quality and quite small.

If you have a predator you will want to note that it requires a 5 Volt DC power supply instead of the 12 VDC that comes with either of the other two amps.

The digital input is also a novel approach. I am curious to see if it cleans up the Toshiba Laptap I have at home. I have to keep the master volume down low or it makes a strange digital swooshing noise.

Just stick it in your ear!

I've had the Pico for about a month now, and have been loving it. It definately cleaned up the output from my PC. The built in card had a audible static coming out of it, so now I get a nice clean smooth sound from the PC, and with the commute, the pico definately seems to manipulate the line out off the iTouch in a subtle but good way, definately helps with the dynamics when listening a little louder as compared to the stock iTouch output.

Enjoy the trip.
