La Scala 1, K-77F-Tweeter Question

Hi Folks,

I have a question concerning the scala-tweeters: one tweeter is conntected to + on the left side and - on the right side of the speaker-chassis

the second tweeter is connected to + on the right side and - on the left side of the speaker-chassis

The + connector for the tweeter on both the crossovers is located in the same position. There are no flaws in the sound. But this cabling makes me nervous. Is it possible that some tweeters have + on the right side and another tweeter of the same type on the left side?

The scalas had been built April 20th 2006.

I am looking forward to yours answers.

Have a nice day

Jack

Take a flashlight and look closely at the tweeter terminals. The + is sometimes marked with a red dot or just red in general. Minus (-) is sometimes in black. As mentioned the tweeter can be mounted so that the + could be on either side and it is fine.

THX for your answers.

@Tony,

today I tried to find the red dot (+) on the tweeters with a mirror and a little maglite.

I could not see any red dot. I won't unscrew the tweeter to get further into this.

Because there are no sonic flaws I try to forget about this.

Scalas sound great!
