popbumper Posted May 1, 2008 Share Posted May 1, 2008 Gotta ask what may seem to be an obvious question - but in a pinch, are these USB turntables that I am seeing on the market any good? To qualify more - if it was fitted with a decent cartridge, and were to be used as a "stndard turntable" (not necessarily tapping into the USB capability), would it be worth the money as opposed to picking up an older used unit? garymd Posted May 2, 2008 Share Posted May 2, 2008 Chris, Seems to me you'd be better off buying a good used table and investing in the software if you want to burn to CD.
