ricktate Posted January 22, 2002 Share Posted January 22, 2002 at the end of disc one where they go to cut bottom of ships i hear a bad noise thought it was speaker,la scalas,but switched wires to right speaker still heard it.then i thought mid-drivers bad so got headphones out, no good headphones sound worse.does anyone else here this or is it something else causing the noise.the exact place on disc is chapter 31 where they are giving blood and a guy runs in and asks for help in the harbor then look out for bad sound.is it possible to check the midrange drivers with out hurting them take apart and look at the diaphram?thanks for help,ricktate Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

boa12 Posted January 22, 2002 Share Posted January 22, 2002 i now attribute those type noises & distortions to the material & a revealing sound/speaker system. many movies have microphone distortion & of course our systems & a fine ear will reproduce them. never had it w/ pcm cd material mixed in recording studios. dvd mainly are sampled at a higher rate of 48k so even more revealing to bad stuff like mic distortion. just my take. ------------------ My Home Systems Page Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
