fenderbender Posted July 17, 2008 Share Posted July 17, 2008 I made a deal with my wife as she didn't want 3 LaScala fronts in the family room for HT (florida...no basement) So I got the entire living room 15X20 for my 2 channel ...she actually likes the klipschorns.... I wouldn't say she's a perfect Audiophile wife but she has ears like a fox!!!! I sit her down for all my a/b ing and she can identify a problem in 2 seconds.... I would set that back up in an instant if need be but I would use a delay for sure next time. Good topic Claude They put a 2 millisecond delay in the Klipsch 3-channel demo room this year. Unfortunately the demos was just the mono in and out, not the mono full ON with delay in and out, so I can't comment. BTW, within 2 weeks of you, I sold my Khorns last November (after 30 years) and ended up with LaScala tops, as you know. Since the center on 5.1 is just for voice, I put in a spare FH-1 and CH-4 horn for that. The interesting part is that I just sold my original center LaScala to the same guy who bought the Khorns, so he was obviously happy with my stuff. I guess MWM's make everything seem narrow, LOL.
