jimmerz
Actually the in wall and in celing speakers that Klipsch offer are also paintable. (you can still notice them, but they do blend in nicely.) Thanks!
jimmerz
Just an update. Since the house is almost finished. I figured I would post a picture of the room with the speakers in it. Now, has anyone heard of Integra Receivers, and if I can get a decent deal on one should I get it?
wuzzzer
Integra is a top line Onkyo brand - very well regarded. Nice to see your system progression, but is there a reason why you didn't line up the three front speakers at the same height? [:^)]
Islander
To allow for the space taken up by the monitor, most likely. This way, the main speakers will line up properly with the screen.
jimmerz
Yep. My TV will be above the lower middle speaker. In between the 2 side ones. There are also t ceiling mounted speakers as well as a nice 12" sub not pictured.
yamaklipschman9.1
Iam new here but not to audio tried in wall speakers just could not do what i wanted performance wise!
tommyboy
I'll just say one thing...have you ever been to a movie theater and had all the sound coming from the ceiling? I don't think I'd be a fan of speakers in the ceiling either. It would be nice because you wouldn't have any big, bulky speakers in the room I guess, but I"m skeptical about how it would sound....... tommyboy
Integra? Like Acura Integra? J/K. You can't go wrong with an Integra product. Out of my price range, or I would definitely have a few Integra products in my system! I'm not too sure where you would find the best deal on one though. Your best bet would honestly probably be to find out where the nearest AUTHORIZED dealer to your home is, know which one you would like to "audition", and tell him you'd be paying cash. Cash talks...................
tommyboy
Iam new here but not to audio tried in wall speakers just could not do what i wanted performance wise! Ummmmmmm, why do you have your surround speakers hanging above your mains?[*-)]
wuzzzer
Ummmmmmm, why do you have your surround speakers hanging above your mains? He has a Yamaha receiver and Yamaha is known for their 'front effect' or 'presence' speaker outputs that are intended for two surround-type speakers to complement the front mains.
