jpm
What would a lascala speaker sound like set tight against a side wall with no toe in at all?
Tarheel
Not as good as getting them out from the walls and toed in. I lived with my LS hybrids tight in the corners for two years and never realized how much I had compromised the sound quality. I figured that the corners would enhance the bass but I was wrong. While my present set up is not as visually satisfying the sound is much better. I put a towel under each speaker and slide them around the room trying different placements. Speaker placement makes more difference than any other tweak I have tried. If bluesboy is on line maybe he can shoot you some pics of my former set up. SWL
Speaker placement makes more difference than any other tweak I have tried. I've had the same experience. I might add that room treatments have been almost.....if not equally......as important. [Y]
