TheEvan
What do I do? I took my battleship SP-10 to a local tech to replace the power switch. They've had it for a long time and I thought perhaps I'd missed their call so I called today. "Um, yeah, we have it and it is repaired but we damaged it". Mr. Tech's diminutive wife picked it up to move it to the 'on deck' room and lost the handle on it. Duh. It weighs a ton, is unwieldy, and has the Technics sprung base. She dented a front corner of the base. Knocked it off actually. Mr. Tech crudely radiused the corner and the other front corner to match then stained them. Not a horrible job, but he was afraid to call me. Of course he didn't charge me for the repair. He didn't know what else to do. Those bases are rarer than hens teeth. What do I do? Meanwhile, I've got a decent tt standing in... Oh, he also managed to lose the antiskate weight from my 3009II arm. [8o|]
sheltie dave
Contact Maron Horonzak - he uses a small shop out east that has the needed SME counterweights.
