These sealed subs have better articulation than 99% of comercial subs on the market, I use JL Audio's Fathom, Velodyne HGS18 and Aerial's SW12 for reference,to judge the quality.Maybe these are one note subs too. I judge quality of the original on various high end headphones with proper headphone amps. One note,that is best used to described a KSW subwoofer. Do you even know what makes a one note sub,if they you would know quality drivers in inert sealed boxes,with Q around .5-.7 with proper PEQ is anything but a one note sub. LMS-Ultra sealed are one note wonders maybe,that is why you purchased your LMS-5400? [] You know a LMS-5400 with no box,that will produce a one note called CANCELLATION.
