Kudret
I had one of these digital stylus force gauges. I bought it for around $60 on ebay. I used it only a few times in ayear and recently half of the LCD became unreadable. I am wondering if someone can recommend a better unit. Kudret
$20 Shure gage. Simple and effective. I have that one as a backup. The problem is, Ortofon SPU has a magnet in it and attracts the shure gauge. Kudret
joshnich
I have the expressimo audio digial gauge that has worked perfectly for years. I do not however think that expressimo is still around. I believe they bought cheap digital scales from china and attached a little platform in order for them wo work with a stylus. Here is an old link http://vinylfanatics.com/index.php/Shop-Announcments/Elusive-Disc-Mailout-14-november-2006.html#3 If you search on ebay there is a micro-tech digital scale for sale with a current bid of 9.99. it is the exact scale that expressimo atached the little platform to and sold for a hundred bucks. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&Item=260307493921&Category=34088null&_trksid=p3907.m29 might be worth buying and trying to attach a platform to make it work as a stylus gauge. josh
Kudret
Thanks, Josh. If he ships to Canada I might give it a try. Kudret
