pzannucci
Hello, Can the newer K-53 Ti diaphragm be used in the older Heresy II speakers without replacing the complete horn and driver? If it can be used in place of the original, would the crossover network need to be modified to handle the new driver configuration and also require raising the crossover point? My pair of old Heresy IIs are sounding a little rough in the high end and was hoping to clean them up some. Thanks,
Groomlakearea51
I believe the drivers can be swapped, but might need a different crossover configuration. Call Klipsch Tech support tomorrow and see what they say. Also check with Bob Crites (BEC). Could be caps if you have not replaced them.
