Klipsch-daddy
Does anyone know of this center would match my rf-3's somewhat? I can get a c7 for about the same price as a rc-3. I just do not want it to be a OVERKILL. ------------------ Home Theater: Yamaha RX-V1000 Klipsch RF-3's Klipsch KSC-C1(LOOKING FOR A RC-3 OR RC-3II) Kenwood KSV64 Bipolar Speakers Klipsch Subwoofer KSW-12 Television: TOSHIBA THEATER VIEW 50" DVD Player SONY S-360 CD Changer CDC 585 5 Disc Yamaha Philips Pronto ts-1000 monster cable interconnects/12 gauge speaker wire This message has been edited by Klipsch-daddy on 02-04-2002 at 11:57 PM

HornEd
KlipschDaddy, its definitely not overkill for a speaker that has to handle more sound information than all the rest of your speakers combined. A better match, however, would be another RF-3 for the center. KLF-C7 and Academy centers are two of the best ever made by Klipsch... even if they were designed for a pre-5.1 generation. The RC-3 is an even weaker center. HornEd =========================================== Brain Must Be Engaged Before Selecting Ear!
Klipsch-daddy
It looks like to me that the rc-3 is a better center channel... I just figured that the c-7 would do just as good. I cant really tell a difference in matching speakers? Maybe I need to clear out my ears? Thanks for the input guys, and if anyone wants to get rid of there rc-3 for a average price let me know. ------------------ Home Theater: Yamaha RX-V1000 Klipsch RF-3's Klipsch KSC-C1(LOOKING FOR A RC-3 OR RC-3II) Kenwood KSV64 Bipolar Speakers Klipsch Subwoofer KSW-12 Television: TOSHIBA THEATER VIEW 50" DVD Player SONY S-360 CD Changer CDC 585 5 Disc Yamaha Philips Pronto ts-1000 monster cable interconnects/12 gauge speaker wire
chuckears
Dude, where were you a week ago, when I put in the last call on my RC-3? It just sold on ebay today (Buy-It-Now: $229 + shipping)? I'm sure you can find another.. they are fairly plentiful, and you shouldn't have to pay more than $300, even brand new.
