  1. thegoodguys still have them in stock, and they're an authorized dealer
  2. You live a whole 10 minutes away from me, shame I already have the PB2ISD
  3. Welcome to the forums. I say if theyre that much cheaper, go for it, as long as you have a nice sub to make up the lower end, since you only have 1 woofer. And thats so true, even some RB15s and an RW8 would sound awesome
  4. Im with the guy above me, looks fantastic. And who says tiny little cubes fit best in decor, those speakers are beautiful.
  5. itzo, I was just commenting on your first post, you have the PB2ISD listed as 600, when its really 900. Get a nice receiver, and a good set a mains. The RF35's are great, but if you can, get the RF3II's, same speaker, just an older model, and cheaper. I use the HK AVR520, puts out 75 watts per channel, and that sucker gets LOUD at around -12, I can still go +10 I believe. Watts arent everything, and you wont need 150 watts+ to power Klipsch, unlike other inneficient speakers. EDIT: I'd get the mains and the receiver first, then a sub, then center, then surrounds.
  6. If you can, try and go for the RB35s or the RB75's. The PB2ISD is 900 dollars last I checked. And check into Harman Kardon, another great match with Klipsch.
  7. Where did you order them from? I ordered from good guys, had to wait 2 months for my RF3s, not cool.
  8. You sir, are a lucky SOB Just curious, did you ever try a processor reset throughout all this?
  9. http://www.hookedontronics.com/show_product_details.jsp?cid=4856 Try that on for size
  10. That will be more than enough, i have one, and my living room opens up to the rest of the house, it puts some deeeeep loud bass throughout the house. The PB2ISD btw.

  12. Save up and get the PB2 ISD from www.svsubwoofers.com , best bang for your buck out right now.
  13. You have to deal with a HAF factor, thats a first if i ever heard one I think the RCR speakers will be fine, although they wont match up to a nice set of floorstanding speakers, i demo'ed a set and they sounded great. You will need a nice sub though, which arent really hide-able.
  14. Subwoofing, lol. I just picked up the LOTR extended edition, so I'll check that scene out as soon as I finish my lunch.
  15. Well whatever you end up getting, make sure its a nice fat cable, with quality connectors, thats really all that matters.
  16. Sorry to hear that, atleast they got the most important part to you Got any pics? I'm dying to see this sitting next to something.

  18. lol. If I could afford that, TRUST me, I would have gotten it, i'm glad to hear you're satisfied with SVS though
  19. Well, for me anyways. Using a HK AVR520, and a PB2ISD with the gain knob at about half, and the volume -8 on the receiver. I went outside, my NEIGHBORS windows were rattling, granted the distance between the 2 houses is only 15-20 feet, I think thats pretty nuts. And I was playing the depth charges from U-571. PS. I dont normally listen to it this loud, and I did talk it over with my neighbors earlier, they said its not a problem since they cant hear a thing inside the house.
  20. I'd heard the reference sats, they sounded great, not to mention LOOK fantastic. And Ear is 130% right about the sub (as always), look at the RW series, sounds much better than the KSW. And if the shop you're going to doesnt have these out to listen to, try good guys, they have all of it on the floor
  21. Those new reference speakers looks fantastic, nice and smooth, not like my sharp boxy RF3s
  22. Good 'ol debating, some people will use home depot cable with their multi-thousand dollar equipment, some will use extremely expensive cable. Right now i'm using BetterCables with my SVS PS2ISD, not sure what kind, but its the one they offer with the ISD on their site.
  23. I have, the RC3II matches up with the RF3IIs ( I also have a pair) than the RC35. I'm no audio expert, but it sounded slightly better to me.
  24. They would do a good job, but if he has the money, move up to a set of Quintets, or ever some Reference bookshelves.
  25. It worked when I was using it, guess someone killed it
