  1. Yes! I own it and it is awesome........... your welcome oldbuckster. Ok in the menu there is something called rockbox. It's like a jukebox you got so many credits and you can punch them in, and that is what will play for you in the order you selected. I think that is the coolest. []

    Off The Black

Jacksonbart, Fred summed that movie up pretty well.
  3. It is raw and probally two channel at that, but don't let that steer you away. Even though it's a bit rough around the edges ( being some are boots, and some are pro shots) it has a bit of warmth to it, and most of these shows are priceless if your a fan. Bon Scott live sounds like Bon Scott in the studio. I love disc 1, and it's GREAT to see Brian during the "Back and Black" album period early on disc 2. The menus are cool, very 80's retro ( I won't give that away because it brought a smile to my face). There are some cool interviews as well on these discs. The two disc set is an oustanding deal for the tunes you get. It's more about the music and the live rock & roll energy rather than audio quality with this one. So don't overlook it if your a fan.
  4. If your an AC/DC fan you will love this. Excellent I skimped out and bought the two disc version wish I didn't. Here is a description of what you get in the three disc limited edition set. http://www.amazon.com/AC-DC-Plug-disc-Limited/dp/B000VL9XNI Product Description Witness every stage of the world's most electrifying rock band! Plug Me In - the new 3DVD Collector's Edition set contains over 7 hours of rare and unreleased LIVE video from AC/DC. DVD 1 goes all the way back to 1975 and original singer Bon Scott with the band's first appearance on TV, quickly followed by two never-before-seen performances from the 1976 show at Sydney's St. Alban's High School. Also on DVD 1 are live clips from Melbourne, London, Glasgow, Holland, and Munich - including the very first public performance of the song "Highway To Hell"! DVD 2 picks up in Tokyo, with Brian Johnson at the mic. Tearing through new songs and old, the band clearly doesn't miss a beat and goes on straight through 2003 - performing with childhood heroes The Rolling Stones. Also included are rare interviews, tour promo films and alternate live versions. DVD 3 is a 2 hour collection called "Between The Cracks" - stuff too good to leave out! Included are both Bon and Brian eras, featuring the never-before-seen 1983 show from the Houston Summit.Total Running Time: approx. 7 hours DVD 1(1975-1979) High Voltage [King Of Pop Awards, Australia, October 1975] It's A Long Way To The Top (If You Wanna Rock `N' Roll) [bandstand, Australia, February 1976] School Days [st. Reign Over Me

The best drama i've seen in awhile. Anyone else seen this?
  7. Watched 28 weeks later this movie was brutal. Excellent film loved the first one too ( probally a little more). 28 days later 28 weeks later ( hooked up my sf-2 watched this and the sound was outstanding. I'm used to Heresy's II's not sure if it was the speakers, or movie) Horror survival type flicks.

    Clutch

Clutch's self titled album ( must have get this one first) Blast Tyrant The Elephant Riders You should be pretty good right there. Maybe iwillwalk will suggest something also.
  9. I'd check it out but I dont' have Sirius[]
  10. Dave is sounding pretty good for a youtube boot at that. Michael, Yeah Michael Anthony I think I would stay out of his way up on stage. A guy could get hurt something fierce.
  11. Always check Amazon in the used section. You never know what your gonna find, and the prices are almost always better than ebay. Does anyone know if it's worth going vinyl if your using an AV reciever? I could always get a tube pre, I would have to get a pre regarless I don't have a phono preamp in my reciever. I dont' want to spend a 500 ( or even a grand) if it's gonna sound like crap anyways because i'm using an AV reciever. My FM tuner sounds juicy on the thing that's why it makes me want something juicier, and I think the stations I listen to still spin vinyl at times.

    Clutch

Oldbuckter, Glad you enjoyed it and thanks for pointing out the Butterfield ( I wasn't sure what it was but I heard it). They are influenced by many and even nursery rhymes. [] iwillwalk, Maybe I got some live boots not alot and the first album is all. What do they have around 12 albums? I'd like to see them on DVD one of these years. I guess they are on one but it's not a whole Clutch show it's with other bands that I probally don't care for. Hattrick, From what I heard everything you should own everything that is when you can afford it. Clutch is worth it in my opinion. All the albums sound quite different yet never not like Clutch. Some are groovier, or bluesier, or harder. It's all good.
  13. No problem, you got the second cd all the songs listed? I pre ordered mine from Best Buy and was susposed to get a bonus disc, but not the full length Reel 2. I never even got it made me mad. Thanks for the heads up i'm gonna have to do a search on that.
  14. Fish that sounds like it would be a good one. I will have to look into it I used to listen to Charlie with my cousin he is a big fan. [Y] [ these emoticons are about 19teenth century[]]
  15. No doubt, I had had tape residue left over on my arm from an IV awhile back. It seemed like it would never come off untill I used rubbing alcohol on it. That stuff is hard to get off the skin.
  16. Tesla- Real To Reel Format: CD It's a bunch of Rockin Covers! At first it just made me want to hear the originals, but now it's growing on me. I thought they would of been better off making another great album of their own material. It's nice to see them pay some respect to their influences, and hear them take them on as well. Packaging is very cool with a "Reel" 1 and "Reel" 2 for a bonus disc you can only get if you attend one of there concerts which contains better songs. Maybe not but alot of them are good ones and "Reel" one is no slouch. I'd say they are equal which is why not having "Reel" two just feels wrong. They should of at least made it an "option" to buy it later. Granted I would love to see them live but not everyone will have that chance. There is a nice "booklet" on The Making Of Tesla Real To Reel. Little photos sometimes mentioning the takes it took for a song ( 1 take at times!), and the equipment they used. This is excellent for a tone addict like me ( I wish it went a little more in debt on "guitar rigs"), and maybe even something a producer can enjoy. They boast about how they used NO MACHINES. Here is some of the recording equipment used. I wont' get into the Guitar and Amps which were pretty cool as well. NEVE 8078 84 channel console, Neve 8108 56 channel console, Studer 827 tape machine with Ampex 456 @ +6db, MCI tape machine, Ampex 100 tape machine with BASF 900 @ +6db, Focusrite EQ, Distressors, Pultec EQ's, AMS Reverb, TC DELAY, SPL transient designer, DBX 160X, AKG C12 A's, Telefunken 269's, Neumann U47's, Shure SM 57's, Sennheiser 421's. "Reel" One ( This is the one your buying if you choose to) Space Truckin ( Deep Purple) Walk Away ( James Gang) Hand Me Down World ( The Guess Who) Bad Reputation ( Thin Lizzy) Thank You ( Led Zeppelin) I've Got A Feeling ( Beatles) Day Of The Eagle ( Robin Trower) Ball of Confusion ( The Temptations) < Wow excellent! Nice Tesla-fying it Rock Bottom ( UFO) Stealin' ( Uriah Heep) Bell Bottom Blues ( Derek And The Dominos0 Honky Tonk Women ( Stone? Just kiddin ) Dear Mr. Fantasy ( Traffic) "Reel" two ( If your lucky enough to see them on tour, and score a copy this is what you get. EBAYmaybe?) All The Young Dudes ( Mott The Hoople/ David Bowie) Make It Last ( Montrose) Shooting Star ( Bad Co.) Not Fragile ( Bachman Turner Overdrive) < Grits teethe this is ROCK I wish it came on "Reel" 1 Street Fighting Man ( Rollin' Stones) Is It My Body ( Alice Cooper) I Want To Take You Higher ( Sly And The Family Stone) Do You Feel Like We Do ( Peter Frampton) Beer Drinkers and Hell Raisers ( ZZ top) Seasons Of Wither ( Aerosmith) Saturday Night Special ( Lynyrd Skynyrd) War Pigs ( Black Sabbath) Dear Fans, We hope you enjoy rockin' to this album as much as we did makin' it. It is TESLA at it's best: Live and Real, playing some of our favorite tunes in a spontaneous burst of time. In this day and age of computers, live music has become chopped, over-thought and with the lifed edited right out of it. We kept this document real with mistakes and all, trying to capture the spirit of our mentors from the glory days of Rock and Roll. Enjoy!, Frank Hannon 4/7/07 Taken from the The Making of Real To Real with absolutely no permission. I hope Frank your cool with it. Bottom line if you like most these songs buy this CD it ROCKS!

  18. Velvet Revolver- Libertad CD Good solid rock album Scott Weiland ( vocalist/ singer ) rarely dissapoints.
  19. Indy cool links I wish I had that axe! I'd rather have 25k though[] Lets take it back old school fo the heck of it. Man you gotta love them socks, but the riff is even sweeter. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LfYjgcOaIUU&mode=related&search=
  20. This does look good I can't wait to check it out.
  21. I agree first his tone was beyond better, and his style was more in your face ( I think during and after 1984 when the keyboards starting showing up everywhere it was the end of that era. Even though Dave was still on the band). That was all Eddys fault nothing to do with any singer. I like Sammy more on his own of course that's my opinion.
