I'm glad I logged in when I did ...I didn't even hear about it in my new sound and vision mag....but, I don't think I received it yet...it's a great loss.. not too many people are forerunners in the audio industry anymore...and now, more than ever,we need new forerunners..things are gettin' too stagnant. It's like everything is a big black box that comes from japan. It'd be nice to see more stuff, like the the products that haffler influenced ,make a comeback. Remember the days of amps with lights and meters, open reels, and turntables, when a person touched his (or her)equipment,it became a part of you and vice versa. Now you push a button and forget about it..or sit in front of another big black box. I still have my turntable...ADC 1600DD with an ADC ALT1 tomearm from 1976..but now it's hooked up to my computer..via musicmatch jukebox. My TEAC X1000Rbl took a dump on me about 2 years ago..but there was nothin' like spoolin' up a reel and touch the play button...well I rambled on long enough...I'm gettin back to makin' dinner.............................
