  1. Thanks, It is under waranty, I will let Tweeter check it again...
  2. I had a blown speaker in December. The woofer was frozen. Tweeter replaced it under warrenty. Last night, while listening to music (in 4 ch stereo mode), I noticed the same speaker sounds distorted again! I have not had the volume up very loud. Is it possible the crossover in the speaker is defective (it was not changed or repaired in Dec), or could it be a channle in my amp? I have swapped cables from pre/pro to amp and switched left and right, it is the speaker. Thanks for your help. 4. If you want to hear and feel the LFE in any movie, get an SVS. I have the 25-31 PC+, it is unstoppable. Never bottomed it, even at crazy loud volume lvl's. I kid you not, in Nemo, when Darla taps the fishtank glass, the bass makes me dizzy (I think it is my eyeballs vibrating). SVS will solve ALL you bass issues!!!!
  5. I got my speaker back lat night, it looks good and sounds great! In fact it sounds better than ever. I think it might have been bad right out of the box. I havent had then for very long (less than a year). Might just sound better to have "complete set" again. Thanks for all the kind words of encouragment during this difficult time. Joe
  6. I have a universal player and like both, alot.....

It is what I would describe as decent in all respects, but you are getting what you pay for. This unit will more than likely dissapoint anyone serious about audio. ---------------- I have the Pioneer 563A, I have not used it for movies, but I do use it for DVD-A & SACD as well as viewing Jpeg Pics on CD-RW from dig cam. I am serious about my audio, but not nuts about it. The $180.00 price tag is too low for this unit. It is a great unit for audio, it does was it says it will. DVD-A & SACD sound great. Could they sound better with one of the other more expensive players? probably so, but for me, based on price and performance, this player is a great unit. Well worth looking at, you can always return it if you don't like it. Think of all the DVD-A's and SACD's you can buy with the $1000.00 savings. Good luck Joe
  8. I know you all were yank'n my chain, I was just fun'n back. Yea, it kinda sucks to be without for a while. I had to reset all my presets to 2 channel. It's kinda hard to watch a DVD like LOTR in stereo!!! Thanks for the fun and comments. Joe

  10. This only happened last night 11/23, I still have the speaker in my car, I will be taking it to Tweeter tonight to drop it off for repair.
  11. I had a similar thing happen, See my post: http://forums.klipsch.com/idealbb/view.asp?topicID=41854&sessionID={9487CF70-96AA-40AC-8B26-116A6A521BAD}
  12. OK, stop it now, I'm in a vulnerable state here, I have a sick system. I come to you for support, and all you can do is make fun of me.....
  13. Thanks, A spearker has really big woorfers......
  14. Last night, while watching "Raiders of the Lost Ark", my right rear speaker (RS-3) totaly distorted. The tweeters sound ok, but the woofer sounds terrible. I swapped outputs on the amp and the distorted sound stayed in that speaker, then I removed the speaker and connected it to a front speaker cable, still sounded bad. I took the grill off and tried to press the woofer, it was very stiff and would not move at first, then began to move but feels very sticky. Definatly a blown speaker!! Funny thing is, it really was not very loud. The more I think about it, I have had some distortion from this speaker for a while, I noticed it when I first played DVD-A or MC SACD, but it was very slight and intermitten before, and only at low volumes. Anyway, it is still covered under warrantee, so I am dropping it off at Tweeter for service after work. Wish me luck! Joe
  15. I would look into an SVS sub, it will give you the earth shaking, couch moving, ceiling falling, window rattling bass you are looking for...I have the "small" 25-31 PC+, it is wonderful. My wife likes it to, she says "it tickles", nuff said.....
