  1. Hi, I had the same question 4 weeks ago so I taked them home both for a test. In mine setup(rf5,rs3) the rc3 II sounded much better then the rc35 what was some coloured in the mids and hights. The voices seem annatural next to the RC3 II and the RC3 II was more present. After a couple of days I decided to go with the BIGGER brother the RC7 to keep up with my fronts. In mine opinion the RC3 II is the better one!! if you have the older line of reference speakers. Bryan
  2. Hi, I have RF5 also and this is a very good speaker!! the RC3 II will match the RF5 in timbre butt sounds a little brighter in the hights. It is a vey good center for the money. Last week I had the RC3 II in my setup and I found it sounds to direct in the high frequenties so I orderd a RC 7 for the center job. The RC 7 is a very diffrent speaker in comperison with the RC3 II. The RF 5 will match the RC3 butt the RC 7 will be nicer!!!! So if I was you save your money now for the RC 7. Bryan
  3. hi, dougdrake already gave the answer Bryan
  4. hi, I have the 963 sa for 6 months now with a VAN DE MEDEVOORT upgrade and this unit sounds fantastic!!!. I use it for stereo and multichannel. The main reason I buy it was for the dcdi faroudja chip that this unit have onboard. It works very well on mine CRT projector!!! Before i the philips I had the NAD T541 i cd player but the philips is so much better after the upgrade. Bryan
  5. Hi, thanks so far for the comments. Yes I know i answered my own guestion but i'm a little affraid that the RS3 are to little in this setup. I'm gonna test this setup and if i dont like them i save the money and buy the RS7 next year. I already have a deccent sub (SVS 25-31 pcplus) and this one is enough for me. Bryan
  6. Hi, I just purchased a couple of RF5's ans they are very very nice!!!!! Now i can get a pair of RS3 II for the rear but i dont know if they can keep up with the RF5's because the RS7's are to expensive for me. I already exchange the RC3 for the RC7 but i'm affraid the RS3 is to little now but i'm out of cash so what should i do. Bryan
  7. Hi, How do you mean???? the only way to mount it is horizontal. Bryan
  8. Hi, how you can see or hear that the center is working properly. Bryan
  9. hi, thanks for all your comments so far!!!! Next weekend I can get a pair RF5's and a RC35 to make a test setup in my own room. I can borrow them from my local dealer. I think of getting the RS7 for the surrounds but in the netherlands these speakers are very very expensive. The only thing is that the RF5 isn't that strong in the low end but he, my SVS will solve that problem in HT. bryan
  10. hi, Í am new on this forum and i think it's a great forum!!! A few months ago I walkt into a audio store and saw a pair RF5 playing. After a few seconds i thought "I love the sound of klipsch". So now I'm selling mine older speakers( infinity overture 3,2 and 1) for a couple of RF5's. Now mine guestion is will the new RF center en rears match the RF5 in timbre. I can get a RC3 but that one has a scratch on the top of the speaker so i don't like that one for that. But in all cases the sound is very importent so what should I do. Bryan PS:sorry for mine english it's not to well.
  11. Hi, I think the yamaha and pioneer are to bright in the high's for those speakers. Last weekend i had them(Rf35)at my home running on the pioneer 908 THX and a NAD T762. The NAD was more natural sounding and the high's and mid's where perfect. On the pioneer the high's become very harsh and to bright and the two channel seperation was lacking. Sound is very personal but if I was you i will go for a rotel, NAD or a Arcam. Bryan
  12. hi, Thanks for your feedback, So one questions is still running trough my head and that is what kind off surround or center should I buy in combination with the RF35 or RB75???. Some people say the center is much better and the other say's take 5 identical speakers for the best setup. Bryan
  13. Hi, I still live with my parents and my room is at the attic. It is a triangle shaped room and 9.5 feet wide and 18 feet long. the highest point is 8 feet. I just listen a few hours and time after time these speakers suprise my. they sound very realistic and are very fast. I just made a comparison with the current speakers i have and these are lot more expensive then the klipsch but the klipsch win the match handsdown. Have anyone got some experience with the center and surround speakers and are they any good??? or should I go for a bookshelfspeaker. So far thanks for the feedback. Bryan
  14. hi, I'm from the netherlands and new on this forum and have a couple of questions. my setup is as follow's NAD T762,philips 963 SA vande medevoort upgrade, infinity overture 3,2 and 1. Now i rent a pair of klipsch RF35 of my local dealer to test and i must say that these speakers sounds very very well. The musical part of this speaker is just amazing and een drumbass really sounds like a drumbass and the sound is so real that i know they outperform my oveture 3(has a internal amp 300 watt RMS)exept in the low extenions. But yesterday the SVS 25-31 pc plus arrived so the low extensions are no issue. What would you do? will you go for RF 35,RC35,RS35 or should i take the bookshelf RB75 5 times voor 5.1 setup. Thanks so far, BTW:don't pay to much attention to my english it's not to well Bryan
