Curious, what company OEM’s drivers for the current Klipsch Heritage series?

    Is it Eminence?

The Klipschorn and La Scala use Atlas midrange drivers (PD5-VH) and Celestion tweeters. Eminence for the K-33 woofer.

Cornwall IV and Forte IV use Celestion midrange and tweeters. Woofers by Eminence.

Model numbers written down for the Celestion drivers somewhere - I can’t remember where I put them.

  2. You get a 4 meter cord and a 2 meter extension. That’s almost 20 feet - so figure 12 feet apart to account for slack. That’s plenty for most people.

You only need one power receptacle.

Most speaker stands allow for tucking cables into them. I personally have no issue with wires showing.

If I could be convinced that the plate amp wouldn’t die a week after the warranty period expires - I would order them today.

Any tips for packing them for shipping?

Cut the wires near the capacitors, where they are soldered. Remove the capacitors.

Use USPS medium flat rate box. Wrap each network in some decent bubble wrap - enough to provide some actual padding. Sit one in the box. Take the other, turn it upside down, and place on top of the other network.

They are pretty robust. Tape box well and ship to:

    Dean Wescott

    933 E Stroop Rd

    Kettering, Ohio, 45429

Use email I provide for PayPal, or toss personal check or money order in the box.

  4. It would appear JEM and me are not on the same page here.

The vocals are recessed because the midrange is attenuated too much. I would have had you move to the AK network. You will need to compare the AK and AK-3 schematics to understand why I do this.

It also means not having to change the film caps in the bass bin - which I’m sure are perfectly fine for what they’re expected to do.
