  1. A lot of talk regarding the differences in bass between the Chorus and the larger Heritage speakers, but I would think the biggest difference would be in the midrange presentation. There should be a substantial difference between the sound thrown from the tractrix horn of the Chorus and the exponential horn of the Cornwall, LaScala, Belle, and K-horn.
  2. Oh yeah, very good. If all recordings sounded as good as his -- you wouldn't need vinyl.
  3. Why would you sell such a remarkable speaker for such a low price and keep the big shouty lascalas instead? I heard lascalas once with a very high quality car amplifier and it hurt my ears.
  4. Great post Max, and that looks like a lot of table for the money. Hmmm...
  5. Makes you wonder what they are using to do the mixdowns doesn't it?
  6. "I don't know why he hasn't shared the proudest thing in his life. That he was able to persuade Debbie to marry him." I said, "Hey baby, how would you like four kids, a couple of cars that only run half the time, lots of bills, and a loon for life?"
  7. "You are only young once, but you can be immature forever." LOL -- that's pretty good.
  8. I have no idea what the kids are doing -- I'm too busy on the forum right now.
  9. Conventional wisdom says they should be in the same corner. I wouldn't worry about the ports since you are probably cutting the bass on the 7's with the receiver, right? You could even set them side by side as long as the drivers aren't shooting into each other. Those subs should have variable phase pots (or is it just 0 & 180). Very nice for blending the bass properly with the mains. However, with the subs on opposite sides of the room like that, you now also have to worry about phase irregularities between them AND the mains. It's usually just easier to get them in the same corner and blend them with the mains together. You know the old saying though -- trust your ears!
