  1. http://www.acoustic-energy.co.uk/products/aego/aego5manual.pdf Tell me the front, back, and remote does not look like the dd5.1? Look at the manual on page 8-9.
  2. prologic is analog only and yeah i know too bad no mainstream, they sound great too

    guess who?

HMMM THEEAR??? LOL I noticed him from his chisseled squared edged face
  4. thats with your svs right?
  5. i remember TheEar uses some kind of oil to rub around the base of the speaker, i.e. the rubber sealer. He used it he says to bring back the since like new out of box look
  6. i believe that they will pla virtual surround if left in prologic as when i hooked up my tv to my dd5.1 it had a virtual surround on prologic. if you want stereo then set the dd5.1 on stereo
  7. that sucks dude, one question how delicate are the klipsch woofers compared to regular woofers. I was the one a while back to post the worst klipsch rf7 woofer damage but i took the picture at a store and I do not own them. I am thinking about saving up to purchase rf-7 but I also attend coolege and do not want easily damaged woofers.... stupid people
  8. also what song makes your eyes blur for a bit?
  9. but i still would like to one day faint do to soo much bass lol
  10. i know im saving up for my svs pb2+ or ultra if i can save a bit more... lol imagine a klipsch ultra with a pb2+ attahed to it
  11. i see but no long term blur like the svs pb2+ can cause? GOD I need that, I want subwoofers that cause people to faint, yes I heard somewhere that a klipsch person made a sub with 140db @16 hertz and that caused the guy to pass out while talking about it
  12. try also upgrading your mp3 player's decoder using mad plugin at http://www.mars.org/home/rob/proj/mpeg/mad-plugin/#install
  13. mp3 are now where near cd quality unless given a start point of 320kbps. mp3 really lose bass and upper trebel as they compress, they lose bass and upper ends first
  14. hey 007 what song and what settings do you use to blur your vision whith the ultra and sws? I can't get blurriness even when i stick my head near the port.....

I dont know what the specs are on the SWS for one has not really been benchmarked. Granted its a long way from an RWS-10, but 5 sws's is sure to blur your vision as my single sws+ultra already does when set up correctly. ---------------- the rws are designed more for music i believe then for overall deep bass, that why they call the rsw 15 probaly the best musically inclined subwoofer, but it's no svs

  17. the sws link is really just renamed for a lfe output, same as all those higher end recievers use to use output for the subwoofer. the lfe or low frequency effect just submit the low end frequencies, i.e. 120 hertz and below i think. I think klipsch named it sws link to try and get credit to sws. Trust me you can add a rw 10 to the sws, lfe output just fine
  18. this post might be read more in the promedia section, and amy will help you alot there as her job is to watch the forums in the promedia sections only
  19. hey nice to heard that someone agrees with me that the ada 885 not bad, so i see you also brought a dell thx series with the turtle beach santa cruz card? i brought the ultras and still use the ada885 too by having the ultras on my dd5.1 and sending the ada885 through analog rear. for some reason when sending digital mode in the turtle beach santa cruz card, the rear is still analog? maybe that how quad setting worked for me on the ada885 when i used digital cause i hooked both digital and analog cables on the ada 885. But oh well i can use the 4 subs i have now for max sound. lol to count ultra sub, sws, ada 885 sub, and boston acoustic 7500 on ac3 of the digital out while the ultra on pcm out from my sound card
  20. the promedia 4.1? and its best to repair or replace the speaker, from what you said the magnet fell off? i think its permanantly broke, if it's the promedia speaker there cheap, i think about 20 dollars a speaker
  21. I suppose that the tin that you use introduces a new resistance but sound difference, unless being very anal, i doubt it
