  1. Selling a Apple Tv 1st Generation with a 160 gb hard drive In very good cosmetic and operational condition. I have the box, remote and manual. Reset to factory settings. $75, plus $10 shipping to lower 48. In Houston, local pickup welcome. Thanks!
  2. I bought these for a project that is not going to happen. 8 Ohm. They work perfectly and have very little use - Nice sounding, well recommended tweeters. $75 for the pair of drivers and matching horns shipped to the lower 48. I am in Houston if you want prefer to pick up. If interested or have questions, send an email or pm. Thanks! Kevin
  3. Does anyone have an extra set? I am building a set of AA networks and need the inductors for the tweeter section. If you have a set, (or a source for a pair) please drop me an email or pm. Thanks! Kevin
  4. Hi Erik - Sent you a pm/email. Thanks! Kevin
  5. Mechanized - I sent you an email. Thanks Kevin
  6. Hey guys - I am looking for an old pair of AA crossovers that I can hopefully pick up inexpensively. I am planning on replacing the capacitors so it doesn't matter if they are shot. If you have a pair to sell, please send me a PM or email and let me know what you have and your price. Thanks! Kevin (in Houston)
  7. Hey Guys - 1976, consecutive serial numbers, "B" model with the risers. Walnut oil with black grills, pie slice logos. K55m, k400 horn, K77m, AA crossovers that have been recapped. Very good condition, a few minor nicks, but that is all. They look very nice. Work perfectly and sound like they should. Price is firm at $2,000. Local pickup in Houston - I am not willing to ship them. There is no urgency on my end, so if you need a little time for a road trip, I can work with that. If you would like a picture or two, let me know by PM (and leave an email address for pictures), or if you have any questions, let me know by PM. Recent move is the only reason for the sale. Thanks, Kevin
  8. Looking to by a case for a Scott 299b amp (preferably a wood case, but will consider metal). It doesn't have to be OEM, a DIY wood case is fine as long as it is done well and looks good. If you have one, or have a lead on one, please let me know what you have, a price and a picture (if you don't mind) PM is the best way to reach me. Thanks! Kevin
  9. In very good shape cosmetically and operationally, with remote and copy of manual. This is the Black one. These Panasonic Digital receivers sound really nice with the heritage speakers. There are some threads on these on the forum. Local pickup is great (Houston), or shipping would be about $20 or less to the lower 48. Reason for sale is I am consolidating systems and have another Panasonic digital receiver already. $125 plus actual shipping. Kevin
  10. I have a pair of these horns for sale. They include the adaptor for use with the k55v or k55m. I have used these for a long time with my khorns and to me they were a very significant improvement over the stock horn The mounting flanges on the 511b's were removed so that the horn fits inside the top hat of the khorn. I fabricated new grills that are basically frames covered with the heritage black cloth. These are included if you want them. This allows the khorns to be snugged into the corners, but lets you direct the 511b horn inside the top hat toward your listening area, while appearing to be completely stock. The Khorns will soon go up for sale soon as we moved and I can't get a good set of corners for them, so I am getting them back to stock in preparation for the eventual sale. This to me was a very effective, fun, easy mod. It allows you try the sound of a different mid horn on the cheap. Local pickup in Houston is preferred but I can ship them if you will pay the actual shipping. I probably would want to ship the grills and the horns separately. $125 for everything - which I think is is a little bit less than the cost of the horns alone. Kevin
  11. Hey guys - I am looking to buy a Scott 222 (preferably a "C" model) or 299b that has been rebuilt by Craig at NOSValves. Must work perfectly and be in good cosmetic shape. I know it is a long shot, but if you have one, or have a lead on one, please send me a email/PM. Thanks, Kevin
  12. Hey Guys, I just picked up a Scott 299c and am looking for a copy of an owner's manual. If you have one and can make a copy/scan, please let me know. I am also looking for the dimensions on a wood case for the 299c so I can build one. Any help is appreciated. Thanks, Kevin
  13. Those look great. I really like the look of your la Scala's Can you tell me how you did that ? Thanks, Kevin
  14. Erik - I think the difference in the number of posts is I have asked 80+ questions and you have provided 4,660 solutions. I will give it a go! Thanks - Kevin
  15. Hi Erik, I think I will give this a try. Does wiring directly from the input to the tweeter cap require a different value capacitor or can you use the same value? Would that work equally well for the A and AA networks? Thanks in advance. Kevin
  16. Kg4guy and Erik, Great work by both of you! The La Scala's look great! Erik hope you and Marie are doing well. Kevin
  17. Eric Clapton - Sessions for Robert J. This one is a keeper. He plays some of Robert Johnson's better know songs. It is a two disc set, one DVD and one CD. Kevin
  18. Selling a Single Black La scala, (1989 model). Cabinet in good shape, the version without the grill. A few scratches, but the black hides them well. I would rate a 7/10. Original drivers and horns, perfect operating condition. Deans' Super AA crossover. I am in Houston and would prefer local pickup (if you want to make shipping arrangements, I will cooperate) Asking $400 which is pretty fair. Was going to use it for a center channel project that never took off. Parasound zphono preamp. Like new with box and manual. Bought for a vinyl project that never took off. $100 shipped to lower 48. You can email me at kevmosmith@sbcglobal.net if interested and I can send a picture of the La scala. Thanks Kevin
