  1. E-mail me at larryb@bmefire.com. I will look at it when I get home latter today.
  2. You will need to listen to the setup before you buy. The Yamaha is really, Really, REALLY BRIGHT sounding. Try a Pioneer Elite.
  3. I have a 15 X 21 room with my HT system along the 15 wall. Along one the 21 wall are two 45 degree angles. The first one is 5 with a fireplace at the same end as my HT system the second is 29 at the opposite end (see photo). Bass gets trapped in the small 29 45 degree corner (+8 db) and I am thinking of putting up a few 2 thick wall panels from these folks- http://www.acousticalsolutions.com/products/panels/alphasorb.asp Maybe a 2X6X2 in that corner and two 2X2X2 on each end of the piano. Any ideas?
  4. Yeah, they are 1/4-20 same as the Klipsch spikes for the RF floor speakers and they cost .37 ea. I think shipping was $2.50 and I bought 8 for what ever reason.
  5. I had the same question. Checked again today an its still not there. What gives???
  6. Sure do, just sold my KSB 3.1s and am selling my 2.1s this week. Running 12-15 watts, looking for something more efficient than 94 dba. Just dont know of any 99+ bookshelf speakers
  7. Yeah, I know this is the Klipsch forum but what would be the best bookshelf speaker for a Dynaco ST-35. It is for my office which is about 10X12 with just a desk and some bookshelves in it. By the way, my HT is all Klipsch Reference.
  8. I have a 25 Monster THX certified cable. Hums with my RSW-10 but not on my old no-name sub. I will take $50.00 for it (new 11/03). Same here, stay with good ends!
  9. My sub only hums with Monster THX certified cable (POS). Not a sound with ANYTHING else.
  10. I decided not to listen to any of you folks and replaced the screws on my RSW-10 with $2.00 < worth of Klipsch spikes. Here is how they tuned out: I can now knock the pictures off the downstairs bathroom wall with the sub turned down 4 clicks from where it was set before. Quite an improvement eh? Seriously though, my carpet is not all that thick and it did help sharpen the bass notes and I have less echo in the 45 degree corners (help, I have two 45 degree corners, one is a 4 fireplace and the other is a 2 whatever. I get an 8 db gain in the 2 corner and its on the opposite wall and going through two full length couches and a large leather chair.). From my listening position the sound is less muddy will watching The Two Towers as it was last weekend so I guess I will keep the mod.
  11. Is the RC-35 page down or what? I need to give my wife a Christmas hint and it's not listed on the Klipsch site.
  12. I have the RF-35 Front, RS-35 Rear Surround, RS-25 Front Surround, and a C-1 center (soon to be RC-35) with RSW-10 sub. Love the sound now that they are broke in. I have a small room (15X21) and the sub/rf-35 try to knock the pictures off the walls in the other rooms.
  13. Thanks Bill, I should have looked there first.
  14. Are all Klipsch speakers (new Reference Models) magnetically shielded? My RF-35" are within an inch of my TV and though I am not having any problems I am not looking forward to any.
  15. Has anyone seen the 10.0 setup on the THX site. Where will the money come from?????
  16. I did a side by side comparison of the RW-12 (the sub I intended to purchase) and the RSW-10. At first I thought that the RW was not set up correctly and I asked the sales person if I could do a little tuning. He said he had to make a phone call that would take 15-20 minuets and left the room, shutting the door behind him:) No matter what amp I used or what settings I made on the amp and sub it did not compare to the RSW-10. Needless to say the RSW-10 is sitting in my family room. I looked at the RSW-12 but with a 17 X 21 room it would have been overkill! -Pioneer VSX-55TXi -Toshiba SD-5700 -Toshiba 34HF81 -RF-35 Front Main -RS-25 Front Surround -RS-35 Rear Surround -RC-35 Center -RSW-10 Sub
