  1. I just read it and I thought is was a pretty good story. It makes a lot of good points that a lot of people need to think about.

You're what, 14, and you know how to create message boards? My sister is 16, and she knows how to design webpages. And I thought I was pretty slick with computers. I remember when I was in 8th grade science class, the teacher asked "who here has heard of email?" I was the only one who raised my hand. How times have changed. Anyways, I just signed up. I just wanna ask though, since you are a relatively clear headed and polite fellow, is this new forum of yours really for people to talk more freely, or was it more of an attempt to create a board without trolls? Cause my interpretation of "freely" means swearing, talking however one pleases, and basically, a "lack" of a moderator, so to speak. ---------------- I will try to get rid of the trolls but still allow people to speak more freely. There will be no cursing or anything like that. I won't shut down threads because of politics and things like that. There will be moderation there but I hope that it won't be needed. Thank you for signing up I hope that this forum works. It really isn't that hard to make a forum I think anyone could do it if they know how to use a computer.
  3. I made a new forum for us to talk on a little bit more freely. I just don't like all of the rules on here sometimes and thought I would like a little bit more freedom. I know there are some other people would like some more freedom too so I thought I would try to do something about it. When you first go to the website there will be a couple pop ups the first few clicks. After the first few clicks normally there are no more popups. Maybe if some people join I could upgrade the software so there would be no popups or ads at all. I would like to invite everybody here to join and hopefully this forum works too. I will post here but like I said sometimes I just want a little more freedom. Here is the link: http://www.xsorbit2.com/users/theaudioforum/index.cgi Thanks, Taylor

  6. DaddyDee, How does the GMX stuff sound compared to the normal promedia stuff? Thanks, Taylor

Their floorspeakers right? I have a 50" desk that i plan on letting the speakers sit on. ---------------- Factory Refurbished ProMedia GMX A-2.1 $99.99 I will sound like a broken record for posting on this again... but Trey Cannon brought this little system down from Indy for a doorprize at the Arkansas gathering. Of course, he set it up and cranked it before giving it away. This little system is un-freakin-believable. This is the truth, they were set up in a room sitting on top of RF-7's. When I left the room the RF-7's were blasting Led Zeppelin, when I came back, Zep was still on, but playing on the Promedias. I was thinking those RF-7's aren't bad at all. I'm telling you these rascals have got a subwoofer that will thump you in the chest and the satellites are clean and true. For $100 you'll have killer sound and plenty of bucks left over to download tunes. ---------------- But that would be like downgrading for him because he has ultras right now. Why don't you get some klipsch bookshelfs and a decent sub.
  9. But Trey thought that the dress thing was funny

It felt like shooting a 22 but it was VERY loud. ---------------- While an M14 doesn’t have quite the recoil of an ’06, you sure would not compare it to a .22! An M16 could be shot all day long without getting sore. I have an NM M1A1 and it WILL let you know it has been shot! Do you remember hearing a scrunching spring sound when you shot the “M14”? If so, it was an M16. The recoil spring is in the but stock and you can hear it compress when you shoot the rifle. BTW, to the best of my knowledge, NO military issue semi/auto M14 or M16 have been released to the public. ---------------- There was no spring noise when I shot it. Maybe it was more powerful than I remember but it was last year when I tried it out. I think that you are right about them not being released to the public also. I used it when it was set on semi auto mode. I think he told me that it was illegal to put it in automatic so I didn't get to try that out

So I said a few things to him in an email and now he is trying to prevent me from selling my speakers. What a joke. Audiokarma is such a better forum. Sorry Klipsch
  17. My great uncle has like 20 or 25 guns including a M14 which I got to try out. That gun was awesome and had like no recoil.
  18. Okay $380 or best offer Thanks, Taylor
  19. Ok how would you like to pay for those?
  20. There are a few more things that you still could move

From the pics it looked like Craig drank a keg. That rhymed.
