Our newest pup DJ just started her first heat cycle last night. With 3 intact sexually mature males this will be interesting.

IMO the CT 125's are a no brainer I use them with my Mod 84 LS, along with Al's universals and an Altec 511b mated to a K55M. The CT125's are cleaner sounding to me by a good margin.

Yep Mine broke too. The mount ofr teh ear gells broke off. The issues I've had with my C3's has largely disuaded me from buying another set of Klipsch IEMs . That is really a shame they sounded great I really loved their sound

Indeed Happy B'Day to the man who is the reason we are all here.

Interesting, in the Apple store I tested the Image Ones with my iPod and I could easily hear the store background noise (I could clearly hear conversations) unless I nearly maxed out the volume, their overall sound was very good but the poor noise/sound isolation was what stopped me from buying them. I need a new set of phones since my C3's finally bit it. I am hoping for a one up or two up model to be released.

Obvioulsy I will not contradict Al's recommendations on his own designs but if you want validation of the ALK universals in 84 series Heritage, I can offfer a testament to them I use ALK universals in my 84LS. I built them from the kits and they are worth every penny and more.

If you are using a stock LS for a center, just disconncet the woofer part of the LS network and test you'll get a feel for what it will sound like, sans your pereference for drivers and horns mods. You be a ble to hear what the abscence of the basss bin does. I tried seomtihng similar many years ago by connecting the LSI MF/HF section I have. I found the missing bass was pretty noticable but from 400 HZ up I had a seemless match.

I'd put the LS across the front and fill surrounds in with Heresy's.......as a matter of fact I've done that. Then I'd put the K's in another room as a two channel rig.
