  1. nginx is an open source Web server and a reverse proxy server for HTTP. You may have proxy settings wrong or some kind of router issue to see that message. You may even find your ISP has some Nginx server problem not related to you at all.

that is slightly worrying... OP check one thing for me please. go to c drive/windows/system32/drivers/etc/locahosts. open local hosts with wordpad and the very last thing on that list should read # 127.0.0.1 localhost. if there is something other than that there, your computer is being redirected by a remote user.

  2. I think this makes sense... thanks for pointing that out.

Two problems I see with it.

    1) Since the horn is "90° x 60° square Tractrix® Horn", it has more dispersion in the horizontal position as opposed to the vertical position. If your seats are more than 60 degrees apart, dialogue will suffer from the outter seats.

    2) Typically you want to try and keep the tweeter at ear level. If you did that with the 64 in the vertical position, the top two drivers would be sending sound above your head.

If you want a vertical speaker, it would be better to purchase a floorstanding speaker that is designed to be in the vertical position.

  3. Hi! I have both and they are entirely different headphones. I love the bass from the Image One, but for rock / metal, the M40s are better - warmer sounding and the higher frequencies are beautiful.

The M40 have less bass, though it's more than neutral headphones. Oh, and the active noise-cancelling is very effective. I alternate them, but always use the M40s when traveling by train.

    Hope this helps!

^this is my exact conclusion also.

  4. well you seem to have some size issues for your speaker choice. certainly you could have gotten a really nice 3 way floor standing speaker in used condition for $600'ish, but if your area isn't that large I guess it doesn't matter that much.

Give the RB's a good listen when you get them and let us know what you think?

What would make this a more complicated setup? Like do you mean adding surround and a woofer, or more preamps and stuff? I'm not familiar with the electric components at all, so if something will make this rock even harder, let me know.

  5. Is there a way to set it up "wrong"? As far as I understand, it's just plug in the amp, run cable wire to the speakers, connect the RCA, and crank it. Or am I wrong already?

that WILL work... but it won't work the best that it could be.

did I miss what type amp you have?

    Edit: I see it now.

That's a very basic set up but should keep you entertained for some time.

you may have saved a little by buying used, but if you dont want that hassle, just enjoy.

  6. Just got an Epik Lengend sub, two can be had for the price of the SW-115. The Legend is a great sub and the sound quality is so clean. Very powerful with dual 12in. drive and goes down to 18 Hz. It has 30% more woofer surface area than the SW-115 for very deep bass.

    .

we all can not live our lives via the lowest common denominator. I am sure the 115 will be more than enough for my 25'x25' room... if not, I will get something else.
