I think some might of misunderstood my post. Although the entry level yammy is pretty awasome in ht with the 5 Legends and the SVS i mean i can bring nic-naks down off the walls with no problem. I got trains, airplanes going through my room i dont know why anybody would go to a lame sounding cinaplex except to get out of the house. That being said the yammy is absulotley horrible with music on the Legends finger nails on the chalkboard. Tubes seem yo complicated and undependable for me, i might be wrong. i want 2 chan. warm knock your socks off for dedicated music.

I am at a crossroad i have spent a lot of time and $ building a 7.1 home theater with all KLF-20 Legends and i must say even with my entry level Yamaha i can not be happier. That being said for music i need help. I have been over on AudioKarma and cannot even get a reply asking about the Legends. As we all know if you put crap into Legends you are going to get crap. They are LIVE speakers now i know every body is going to say TUBES,TUBES,TUBES but what about SS. A friend of mine has a Pioneer SX-1250 165wpc. He brought it over the other day and it was the best i ever heard music out of them. He had a SX-650 laying around and gave it to me its close but runs out of headroom. Any suggestions on something that would be Netural with the Legends.

Thank you all very much. That is where i am at love my friends 1250 but havent convinced him to bring it over to test fly on my Legends. Really want to hear them 20's sing to me. I can only go about a 1/2 hour with the Yamaha and my ears start to bleed, my wife on the other hand loves that bright sound. I respect all your opinions very much so i think maybe #1 Pioneer #2 Marantz and now Sansui.

What about vintage Marantz or Sansui ?

Hi everyboby, Shopping for a "musical big power vintage reciver" like a Pioneer 1980, 1250, 1280, Marantz,etc. Anything but a finger nails on a chaulkboard Yamaha. Used soley for albums & cd's any ideas, also a good mlti-disc cd changer 100+. Thanks for any thoughts.

I have a 60" Sony LCD that all of a sudden has a annoying "flicker" in the picture on the right side that runs vertical from the top to half way down. Real noticable when the picture is light such as outside scene. Any ideas would be appreciated.

I like the convience of throwing all my media in one player, like the Sony DVP-CX995V 400 Disk Changer. The specs. read, Upscaling 720,1080, HDMI, plays SACD $400.00. Sounds too good to be true. has anybody heard any pros or cons about this player?

how practical is having a projector for all video, tv, dvd etc. and what is the main thing to look for lumines?
