  1. id like to see klipsch step into car audio maybe. but thats a whole new arena. maybe they could just make component speakers or sub drivers for cars. start slow and then expand in the area of mobile audio. just an idea... scp53
  2. the pics look awesome. congrats on the purchase. I know that system rocks. enjoy it scp53
  3. i'll stick with my sound king 10 ga wire.
  4. Im glad to see that many are responding to this thread. there must be many more musicians that havent replied yet? scp53
  5. i dont think it is amp prob. how hard are you working it(look at the driver)? maybe pick up the cab and shake it with your hands. i dont think its that heavy. otherwise pull the driver and look inside. Does it ONLY happen at certain spl's or does freq affect it(deep movie lfe vs music, etc)? scp53
  6. welcome to the forum. not exactly sure what your asking. are wanting to hook up the JBL's to the sub or the sat output? scp53
  7. my grills stay on all the time usually

    What to do?

i vote rb25 sys or higher. the bookshelfs just have a bigger sound. i look at prices and see that the rb25s and rsx5s are the same(and so are other speakers in the same "lines"). only reason to go with the rsx5 system would be for size. other than that the rb25s have them beat in all ways. scp53
  10. check partsexpress.com they have a lot of mounting options
  11. congrats on the purchase. im sure their putting a big simle on your face just like my klipsch are doing to me scp53
  12. im gonna watch that thread and see if it ever gets made. hopefully it will work out for him. i think it would be VERY eye catching for people, even if it doesnt work the best. scp53
  13. i was just curious about this. in HS, my favorite band is definetly the Jazz Band and then the Marching Band next(although its all done). in the last 4 days i ve had 3 performances for Jazz and it was awsome. I think im definetly going to be in band in college and the rest of my life. and fyi, i play alto sax(and used to play violin). so go ahead and tell us if you play in a band or where you used to play. scp53
  14. kenratboy, you can do this as long as you don't become a "boomy-bass" head LOL. i hear SO MANY crappy systems and its sad(well kind of...) because there BOOMY and sound like crap. im not a car audio person so i have no recommendations for you(if thats what you wanted). good luck scp53
  15. minn_male42, i agree completely with you. im not a huge fan of this type of design. just thought it looked cool. by the way, haveing that many klf's would be sweet. someday ill maybe get that. for now its just my klipsch bookshelfs. scp53
  16. colterphoto1, he doesnt use full range drivers but he does use some bass drivers on the bottom for the low end i think. And can any one tell my exactly what comb filtering affect is? i hear them talk about it but i dont quite understand. thanks scp53
  17. i found this on the PE tech talk page(board/forum). what do you guys think of it http://www.pesupport.com/cgi-bin/config.pl?read=211088
  18. i don't own klipsch heritage yet so it never gets REAL loud(just have synergy and ref bookshelfsg). in my basement sometimes i hit 107-110(at 8-10feet away) but thats it. not really that impressive. scp53
  19. i completely agree with what sivadselim said
