  1. Norton antivirus doesn't find any viruses on my computer. When I go to the old forum site, I just get a warning that a file is about to be downloaded, with the option to cancel, save or open it. I just hit cancel to stop the download. Here's what the warning says. File name: ..........................emf. The file type is: IrfranView EMF file. Sent from: thedivide.ws I hope this helps, Rick.
  2. These speakers are about 10 miles from my house and I probably pass within a mile of them every day. I could check them out for anyone that's interested. Rick.
  3. Jay, I got hurt in an auto accident in 1994 and went through a lot of the same stuff you're experiencing. It would take forever to tell the whole story, so I'll skip the complaining part and just give some quick advice. First and most important......don't use narcotics to treat chronic pain. Especially if it doesn't provide relief. I've tried them all and found Ibuprofen helps as much as anything......for me anyway. Don't use alcohol as medication. Try to take a long walk every day. It may be tough at first, but go slow and work through the pain. Don't stop taking these walks after you start feeling better. It's really hard to get started once you've stopped. Then the pain will come back, making it that much harder to get started again. Keep socially active. I hope this helps. Good luck, Rick.
  4. Todd, Chevrolet stopped building the Camaro in 2002. What's cool about this new one is that it looks a lot like the very popular 1969 model. Rick.
  5. Wow......you're right. There's something wrong with the old forum. It was fine earlier today, when I first posted the link. Wonder what happened? Rick.
  6. I like the new Camaro, but Picky's right........the new Challenger looks even better. I also agree with everyone else about the 4 door Charger........really bad idea. Rick.
  7. Now really...........How can I be spreading a virus by posting a link to the old forum? I'll remove the link just in case. Rick.
  8. I knew they'd do this someday: http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20060109/us_nm/autos_show_camaro_dc_2;_ylt=Aox9O5ngpTFOZhMwjH7rxCXlyREB;_ylu=X3oDMTBiMW04NW9mBHNlYwMlJVRPUCUl Rick.
  9. For anyone that doesn't know, you can still search the "old" forums. (EDIT: link removed) Rick.
  10. SB, You have to sign up for the "free account" if you want to relocate your marker. All that's required is a user name and password. However, you might not want to show your exact location for security reasons. The site does move pretty slow sometimes, but there's really nothing I can do about that. Happy New Year, Rick.
  11. Fini, You can't see the map? That's odd....... I'm not aware of anyone receiving spam related to the map. Rick.
  12. We now have 100 people marked on our map!! The map also has a "group forum" that we can use as a back-up when this one is down. You can access the group forum at the top of the map's page. Rick.
  13. I went to the Best Buy in Barboursville, WV last night. What got my attention first were some Klipsch speakers in a "home theater" display. They had a pair of nice theater seats in a front corner of the store, with a Stevie Ray Vaughan concert video playing on a 50 or 60" plasma screen. The mains were F3s and the sub was the SUB 10......not sure about the center and rears. The music was turned up pretty loud and the subwoofer was maxed out (too loud). There was an aisle with several Klipsch speakers hooked to a switchbox for demos, but it didn't work. There was, however, a nice display with some Klipsch "in-wall" speakers that worked. The speaker numbers and selector buttons were not properly labeled, though, which made hearing a particular speaker rather difficult. Hope this helps, Rick.
  14. Here's a classified ad I found from Lincoln, Nebraska. The ad started on 12/18. "SPEAKERS, Klipsch kg4. Min 20 watt/channel. Amp required. $100 402-423-6283" Good luck, Rick.
  15. Jim, If you've created a frappr account, you can log in and move your marker to any location on the map. All that's needed to create an "account" is a user name and password. However, you may not want the marker on your exact location for security reasons. Rick.
  16. Timmikid, Are you sure you signed up for the right map? I don't see your name on the list, or any flags near Ghana on ours. Here's another link to the Klipsch Forum map. http://www.frappr.com/klipschforum Rick.
  17. Here's a classified ad that started today (12/13/05) in Rapid City, SD. It sounds like a great deal. "Pair of Klipsch KG4 speakers. In original packing boxes. Like new condition. $150 for the pair. Please call 721-9535 if no answer leave message, will call back." Good luck, Rick.
  18. Any blues fan should check out Lowell Fulson on the "Bullseye Blues Christmas" CD. The song "Lonesome Christmas" is really good. Rick.
  19. Don't worry Michael, I've already asked Amy about using the PWK thing. Which "Legend in Sound" moniker are you talking about? Can you show me an example? I'll delete you from the map so you can change your comment and add a picture. Thanks, Rick.
  20. Hey, our map is looking pretty good, with over 40 locations marked already. As the map administrator, I need to add a description of our group and a picture to represent us. The description could be as simple as "For those who love Klipsch", but I'm hoping someone could come up with something better. I like the looks of the spinning, gold PWK pic someone uses as their avatar (not sure who) for our picture but I'm open to suggestions. Rick.
  21. Hey, this is a pretty cool website. One of the misspelled ads lists "5 Kenwood components and Klispch speakers", with an opening bid of $500. Out of curiosity, I asked the seller for the model number on the speakers. He replied they are "HWO" (heresy) from 1984. If I wanted a pair of Heresys (and were close to Louisiana), I'd buy the system for $500 and sell the electronics. http://cgi.ebay.com/Kenwood-Ssytem-5-components-Klispch-Speakers_W0QQitemZ5839075571QQcategoryZ79854QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem Rick.
  22. Rick, I think there's a doorway on that 12' wall also. Your setup is great. But his room has smaller usable space, yours is a single garage, so its' like what 20' deep? Michael That's some pretty good guessing, Michael! There really is a doorway on fastnee's front wall.........how did you know?.....and my room is exactly 20'10" deep. Rick.
  23. No problem. I noticed that wuzzzer (mark) is on the map twice, too. Do you guys want me to delete one of your entries? Just let me know which one you want removed. Rick.
  24. I don't understand........Cornwalls are about 25.5" wide, so why would there only be an inch between three of them in a room 12' wide. My room is exactly 12'4" wide, and I use three Cornwalls (center is on it's side) with at least 2 feet between them. It sounds freakin incredible, by the way!! Rick.
