here is a very inexpensive way to etch glass if you already have a small air compressor, i did this a few years ago and it worked great, you dont need a sandblasting set just a small compressor and a cheap version of a mity vac available at most auto parts stores, use the cup provided with the tool and put some playground sand in it hook one side of the cap for the bottle to your air gun, and hook a short piece of hose to the other side of the cap, and you havew a small inexpensive sand blaster that can also be used to bleed brakes check vacume on engines etc... sounds crazy i know but it works Joe

2 WEEKS AGO I HAD ONE OF THE WORST WEEKS OF MY LIFE, AT AGE 40, I WAS CALLED BY MY ASTRANGED FAMILY BACK TO KY SEEMS MY MOTHER WAS DECLINEING FAST (LUNG CANCER), I WAS ABLE TO GET THERE AND SEE HER AND TELL HER HOW MUCH I LOVED HER AND THAT ALL WAS GOOD BETWEEN US I HELD HER HAND AS SHE PASSED AWAY, A COUPLE NIGHTS LATER MY FIANCEE AND I WERE EXPECTING OUR FIRST CHILD WE WERE 4 MONTHS ALONG AND ALL WAS SUPPOSED TO BE GOOD, ABOUT 1am SHE COMPLAINS OF PAIN AND GOES TO THE RESTROOM , NEEDLESS TO SAY WE HAVE A MISCARRIAGE AND SPEND THE REST OF THE EVENING IN THE HOSPITAL, TIMES LIKE THESE MAKE A PERSON WONDER WHAT IS THE SINCE IN BELEIVEING IN GOD AND SUCH. I MEAN WHY WOULD A GOD ALLOW A PERSON TO SUFFER WITH LUNG CANCER ( A SIGHT NONE OF YOU WANT TO SEE, IS A PERSON, LET ALONE A LOVED ONE SLOWLY SUFFOCATING ) AND WHAT PURPOSE COULD BE FILLED BY TAKING A CHILD NOT EVEN BORN YET. I DONT UNDERSTAND THIS, BUT I TRY TO KEEP SOME FAITH ALTHOUGH I WILL ADMIT IT IS HARD, AFTER THE FUNERAL I GET BACK HOME AND FIND I HAVE BEEN OFFERED THE BEST JOB OF MY LIFE A UNION JOB WITH AMTRACK 21.00 AN HOUR, SEEMS I PASSED ALL THE TESTS AND MEET ALL THE QUALIFICATIONS, RECEIVED A CALL TODAY ASKING WHEN I CAN START, I SAID NEXT WEEK IF YOU LIKE THEY HAVE TO CHECK AND SEE WHEN THEY CAN GET ME IN TO START TRAINING, SO NOW I GUESS IM JUST WAITING ON A CALL FOR THE START DATE, I WONDER WHY IT IS THAT WE HAVE TO BE HIT SO HARD IN LIFE BEFORE WE CAN BE LIFTED UP AGAIN, I HAVE ALSO BEEN ABLE TO AMASS SOME AWSOME GEAR LATELY THAT BEFORE WAS JUST TOTALLY OUT OF MY REACH, NO WAY I COULD HOPE TO GET DYNACO MARK 3'S AND A BLUEBERRY, BUT I WAS ABLE TO SELL OFF MY EXISTING GEAR AND GET A GOOD ENOUGH PRICE TO PAY 90 PERCENT OF THE NEW GEAR AND WORK REQUIRED TO HAVE THEM UP AND RUNNING, i am glad to have a place like this to express these feelings and get responses thanks to all of you for everything. gary i dont know why you wouldnt get chills everytime you listen, i know i would. made a deal with mark tonight to get my blueberry, and have the mark 3's on the wway to craig on monday, in about 1 month i hope to get those chills. of course i wont have Khorns but i guess i will suffer with my lascalas(its a hard life huh!!!) what model basis tt is that you have, no way i can afford that but i am looking into a rega, systemdek, or possiably a linn what are your thoughts on a good table? black heresy's this is the last of my sales and will complete my funds to pay for my new tube upgrades, these are in very nice shape they do not have the risers, (this is the way i got them)excellent sounding all drivers are good to go cosmetics are also very nice no gouges or chips may find a small surface scratch etc... i can ship these at buyers expense i wanted to offer these up here before ebay will let these go for 350.00 to forum members Joe

thanks max and all i now have a dual cs 5000, and a thorens 160, wanted to get a rather significant upgrade in sound quality, as i am upgrading the rest of my system, new dynaco mark 3's a juicy music blueberry, probably 90 percent of the listening i do is albums, i love some classic rock on vinyl, what type cartridge would be a good bet on a table like this and what about interferiance from vibration (distortion etc...) i had to make a home made isolation table for the dual, shouldnt that carry over and solve any problems with this type table sorry for all the questions but want to be sure i get a significant upgrade in sound for the money thanks to all Joe EDIT well i just received an email from the seller and sounds like the guy is trying to pull something to me , his reply to does the table work was he blew his pre amp, and IF THERE IS A PROBLEM HE WOULD THINK IT WOULD BE THE CARTRIDGE OR NEEDLE, he states in the sale that the table was checked at a service facility and they said it was ok, wouldnt they have to check the cartridge also? joe
