Just phase, so if you know a cheap unit that will do the job with as little frills as possible, that would be cool! Edit: Can I pay you in W-Bins? j/k lol
-
OK, is there anything I can buy, as much as I love using a soldering iron, I really don't have time for this right now lol
-
Yes, but the question is rhetorical... This situation isn't happening to me. Im just wondering if such a product exists or if I can make it

If I needed to change the phase of a powered subwoofer and my reciever couldn't do it and my subwoofer couldn't is there another way? Like a module that can plugged in between the subwoofer out on the reciever and the line in on the subwoofer that would add a rotary phase dial?

For me I like Allen and Heath as far as bang for your buck goes, but midas, soundcraft, or digital yamaha consoles for me! Crown for amps, QSC sometimes too. AKG mics, EAW PA and JBL, but not new JBL stuff, only stuff from the 70's thats been taken well care of. EV I only like for their X Array line array. I find their stuff to be loud but lacking in smoothness unlike EAW. As far as my shop, the other audio guy who works there I used to rent from!

I do not own everything at our "shop" me and another sound guy share the gear. I say "shop" because its just a big storage locker/warehouse filled with gear... I should take a pic of my wall of W powwer!! But there are 3 PA systems and 2 techs... so i do tend to call them mine from time to time... I love EAW and older JBL speakers but i've never tried the Klipsch stuff. I won't be at the pilgrimage, id love to go but sadly I have no car and it's too far to walk. It's cool that you are young and doing audio.... Im only 20 so considering the scale of events I do and the equipment I use I consider myself pretty lucky! What are your preferences as far as your FOH gear? Oh, and are there any other pro audio dudes on here?

It's an EAW 650 Rig, the LMD driver is a 15", and the subs are dual 18" For processing... the official EAW 650 Processor tuned from the factory Theres 2 other rigs for me to play with, First, a stack on each side with 3 cabinets with 2 JBL 12" and a 2" horn, and 3 subs with 18" JBL drivers powered by an older QSC touring stack with a DBX Driverack processor And also the horn loaded rig from like the 70's... a stack on each side with 3 cabinets with 2"Horn, 2 12" mids horn loaded... and as many as (i think theres close to 30) JBL horn loaded in a W" config with 2 15 inch drivers and BSS processing for the whole rig with QSC amps... this rig can fill a football field, no problem. The EAW rig is for rooms and a clean sound, the JBL's are for rock, arenas, and stadium. Have you done some pro audio Dr.Who? We should talk

Great amps by QSC and crown, though I tend to like the sound of crown amps better, we have a rack of 4 crown macrotech touring amps in our rack powering our 3 way EAW tops and bi-amped EAW subs.... Overkill for 300 people? But i stay away from amp with switching power supplies for my FOH rig, to high a failure rate.

Need Advice on fixing a broken crossover!!!
masterngc replied to masterngc's topic in Technical/Restorations
well i patched it up and its good to go... Sounds the same as the others even at high volume so im not to worried, but i switched it with one of the rear speakers so it would get less of a workout. You know, these sat's sound pretty good with a separate amp and a little bit of parametric eq... -

5.1 ultra sat, so where it got nicked i can just throw a little crazy gue on there to insulate it? -
An idiot family member decided to knock over one of my speakers and not tell me, needless to say, the HF driver broke loose and took out part of the transformer on the crossover on the way down my question is this: on the transformer is the coil plain copper wire, or is it copper wire with really thin insulation on it, because the wire is nicked pretty good, and is the function of the plastic part at the bottom of it just there to hold the wires together in a coil? The sooner someone helps me out, the better... i'm literally sitting here soldering iron in hand [Y] Thanks!

So, what do you think? A Fs of 14.6Hz? Considering a 13 inch JL Audio W7 has a Fs of 23.5Hz I think that 2 of these puppies in a decent box could shame a gotham in sub bass levels.... Looks almost too good to be true. Anyways has anyone heard the Alliance in person? Click Here

Well, now that klipsch has bought out energy, mirage, and athena, I guess we can see some product improvement in those brands...

Can I use two Khorn bottoms as SubWoofers?
masterngc replied to djn's topic in Technical/Restorations
When you guys say an instument only goes down to xx HZ, are you talking just about the fundamental tone of the note or are you taking resonances from the instrument into effect? -
Pics from my old and my new khorn system, hope you like it

Very Nice Looking, and I simply LOVE that horn!! -
yeah and also if you change the "o" in bose to an "a" and the "e" in bose to an "s" bose spells bass.. so it must have better bass too!!
