  1. I also remember seeing an "independant" test that showed some specs . . . I was embarrassed for them
  2. I didn't get to see or hear the game (plumbing projects) but from what I saw on sportcenter, No. There was no cheap shot
  3. Way to Go Steelers Way to go . . .
  4. LMAO... I can see the Heritage clan welcoming the RF7 proponants already, LOL
  5. Well, I went out ready to purchase a pair of Synergy F3 towers and came home with RB35s and am glad I did
  6. I like... even before seeing any specs... but my budget cries for a sweet deal on a slightly used RW-12 possibly a RSW-12
  7. Laughed My Cheap booty off.... anyway, I was so PO'd with the "pop-up" notifacation that anything more then a one time 30 second audio clip would "require the purchase of a registration code" after the lengthy download that I blew the whole idea off . . . at least for now
  8. [:@] well, it sounded like a good idea so I waited through a long n slow dial-up download ... only to find it seems it's not free after all. to get that 'free' program to actually work requires the purchase of a registration code . . .
  9. eh, what "other-problems"? I currently have a 'Cable-Card' and I'm not happy with the trade-offs (no on-screen program guide for one) and am seriously considering going with the dual tuner DVR / cable box
  10. hmmm, being confident in my taste and sense of qaulity I don't need cabinet art.. I rather like the understated apearance of the current Ref linebut then a lot of folks seem to require "g-wiz-look-at-me" styling in more then just their choice of speakers, I bet some of those customers fall into that catagory... maybe you could offer them "appearance-mods" you know, like wheels kids are installing on their cars
  11. Dang, I was traveling and missed it... do you think INHD will repeat the show?
  12. cowboys?, I thought they were sheepherders...
  13. Holy Rumball! That looks like the ticket. I'm going to download and give that baby a spin Thanks for the help.
  14. ah, er.... nope, I guess it was a case of typing while drunk... they are really 6x8s [:$] Thanks for y'all help, I'll give them a try Merry Christmas to you both
  15. for weeks my Daughter was wanting us to rent it... she finally won out and I'm actually quite glad, it was much better then I was expecting
  16. Hi, I got a couple DVD concert videos that I would love to be able to listen to on the road... the audio quality doesn't have to be steller since I'll be bouncing along in my work truck that features a simple kenwood HU driving one step above oem Pioneer {Edit: 6x8 speakers [:$] } that have to overcome plenty of road, wind, tire, and chassis flex noise, not mention a load exhaust. Hopefully, someone can recommend a simple way I can toss my dvd into my computer and store just the audion portion as an mp3 file that can then be burned to a cd...
  17. ... or you could.... but first, a question: why are you considering a pair of RSX5 for the rears? I think they sell for $300 - $400 a pair, yet performance seems to be comparable the RB-25s which while not as sleak-n-sexy, sell for quite a bit less. Or you could just get 2 pair of RB35s...
  18. There are also NO provisions that Klipsch need provide a soapbox as well
  19. Sorry, I'm not seeing how this is censorship at all, or anything wrong with what I wrote. This is a private forum--you must be a member to post. We own this forum, we can remove it at any time with no lawful repercussions. My job is to monitor the forum to make sure it best represents Klipsch. I'm not here out of enjoyment, to learn about audio, or to make friends--I can't just leave when I don't like what's going on. My job is to fix it. The difference is huge. And I wish to thank you Amy, and Klipsch for extending me the previledge of membershipbtw, I guess I'm just going to have to dig up the dirt when I get home to night... The next best thing to reality tv is reality.net, LOL j/k... I wish y'all a Merry Christams
  20. and I most whole heartedly agree with you, sir. I visit afew other sites as well... and each has their own "rules-of-engagement". . . on one, you might find members posting PICs scantily clad, if clad at all women interspursed with all manor of Harley-Davidson technical info while on an other, posting such a PIC will get you "banned" without hesitation let alone explaination. Yet in ALL my info hwy travels, I have not yet encountered a site who's moderators tolorate an abusive member's lashing... while to some, behaving appropriatily in a PG-13 rated forum may present to big of a challenge, I welcome it.
  21. that's what I thought when I cancelled my order for a RC-35 and got the RC-25 instead for two reasons... 1. at the time I maily used that system for 2ch 2. the RC-35 was 0.125" to large to physically fit in my old entertainment center what a differance 6 months make... I now find myself watching a TON more movies, not to mention Music DVDs on my new larger tv, which I built a nice stand for (that includes enough room for an RC-7 [] ) Dang! I should have got the 35...
  22. Yep, that there is the only form of "Bi-Amping" that I was aware of...
  23. am I a total loss? I thought that the additional connection on the speakers is for "Bi-Wiring" ONLY (running a pair of speaker wires from the reciever to the speaker) if so, it would be all but impossible to "Bi-Amp" the speakers without 'opening-them-up" Please someone, set me straight...
