  1. You talkin' bout the guy that was born in the back of a Greyhound bus?
  2. I see. I was thinking "yellow/white" as same thing - just plastic vs. tin cans.
  3. Mmmmmmmmmm, last time I heard the words "lock-down" I worked for the department of correction many years ago. Yeah, but that's what it is. Those spasms hit, and bam! You're locked. It doesn't matter what position you're in at the time. You just better be still and relax. It's crazy. I began thinking it might be a hernia because the spasms almost go all the way through the stomach.
  4. If it's severe spasms, he can forget anything that has to do with painkillers. I've been there and weathered it. You have to work them out through moderate exercise when you're not being wrenched at the moment. The spasms do let up for enough time to do that.
  5. Great! But that was a wild-a$$ guess, based on the lyrics, and their deep undertones. Other than that, ain't no way I'll get it without an obvious gimme - and only then, I'd be lucky.
  6. That's what I had. What a mess! It's gone, now. I think a few toe-touches and windmills are a good thing when you're not in the middle of lock-down. That's about the best I can say for that issue - if it's spasms driving you down. Those are rough!
  7. I walk like a stiff soldier haha... But sitting up good forces all the pressure into my damaged back. then everything goes numb, I go insane, and my body literally slouches itself. Could it be you're having spasms at that time?
  8. Ooooh. Ooh-Ooh-Ooh. Oooooh. "Blinded by the Light." Okay, Oldie, let's move it to the right thread. Post your next challenge.
  9. Don't know, but you'll find out soon. Mine shipped today.
  10. Check on the Klipsch website under Products/Discontinued/Belle.
  11. Well, there's the problem! Not to make light, but I'm sure you can use a little humor when you can. Good luck. I wish you the best because I've seen what you're going through.
  12. Very well-stated. I'll never screw the tops on those KHorns and switch from A to AA to meet the mood.
  13. Duke's gotta be a guitarist. There's always been this unspoken "tension" between the drummer and the guitarist, and the poor bass player..... loves the beat but plays strings...... so he never really knows where he fits in. []
  14. Jay, for starters, force yourself to sit up nice and straight and keep good sitting posture. Slouching and kicking back is one of my worst pitfalls. Good posture, with the shoulders back, helps if you make it a habit. That goes for the way you walk, too.
  15. If you'd give us one we can get, Oldie, we might. Well....................... we're waiting........ []
  16. I can't give you the science, but I heard the difference at LeMay's. Maybe it's because the woofers in subs are singled out for the lowest frequencies while the Khorns are set to play a wider band of lows.
  17. Just go for it. They'll sound good - just at a lower volume I'd imagine.
  18. I'll tell you what really threw me is about 5 minutes after posting this question in this thread, I could no longer access Klipsch. I thought, "I've been banned!" I wasn't mad, but I was freaked and wondering to myself "What on Earth?" Looks like the website went down for a while.
  19. Maybe you should be careful not to speak that way. That seems a bit more fair, doesn't it? No apologies from me. Especially, if it's only a "bit" more. To err just a bit would save me a substantial amount of keystrokes in trying to qualify everything I say. Fine by me. I didn't think an apology was called for... Oh, I thought maybe you got mad or something.
