  8. dwilawyer, I have a pair of 1977 khorns, the s/n on mine reads KC-BB-R 316-317, that's black birch with # 40 sheen black laquer. Mine also have the round type tweeter k77 k55 k33. Jay
  9. Guy's it's not about the money, I was just wandering about how much they are worth. As I may get them for someone who could really use them, I still have khorns and really do not need them. Unless they sound better than my khorns in my setup, I would not keep them.

  13. Hi guys, I am almost 200 miles out in the Gulf of Mexico, doing a huge well test job for Chevron. I run into an old friend who has a friend who has a pair of really nice Lascalas he wants to sell pretty cheap. I was just wandering about how much they are worth. I think he said late 70's early 80's in real nice condition. A little help please. Jay
  14. Greg, to be real honest with you I was going in with you to help you out. I put the new sovteks in the other day, I have about 25hours on them and they are really sounding sweet. Of course I was wondering about the RCA sound too. I figured it couldn't hurt to have them. Jay

  21. Mike, thanks for your imput on the biasing, that was more informative than the owners manuel. Rick, what would be the advantage if any going to a 45 tube, and can I do that without creating any problems for the amp? I almost forgot, I got some new sovteks, a matched pair. Jay
