I had the same problem with mine, posted about it here a couple of years ago. Was very happy to find that the problem was a simple fix, still very satisfied with this sub.

Thanks for posting the HDR photos
My Canon DSLR camera has the HDR feature but never used it
Youre post may have given me a prod and a poke to give it a try
Just wondering if it works as well on closeup near macro shots
Watch this space as I give it a go
It will work, but probably not the best application for it, now if it could do automatic "focus stacking" as easily as it does HDR then us macro-photographers would really have a fun tool in our hands.

Yup!!....You could spend a lot more money and still not improve on that turntable....good call.

Agreed there are too many people who say they don't care, until the minute they wake up and realise that seemingly innocent piece of technology has eroded away a piece of THEIR privacy. I can never understand that attitude. This is MY world, my life, and my freedom, and I value it.

RF5's manufactured in Hope, with furniture grade veneer.... Yes the RF5 is the better speaker than the RF3.
-
Yeah it can be addictive, I discovered the Tv show "Top Gear", the British version, you couldn't tear either myself or my wife away from it till we had seen every episode of six seasons.

It pleases me to see that stupidity is as prevalent here as any other forum...

Had the 430,630 and 730, only the 630 remains with me, I found it to be the best of the three, but they all deserve the good reputation they have.

Industrial with brass handles and a high gloss???

Yup, a spec that is proudly advertised on the back of them, and your correct about the audible difference...purely a marketing dept requirement. The RB-5 was a very well received speaker, the critics were for the best part in agreement that it was one fine speaker. The Gen II References were wired internally with Monster Z-series cable; the original References had "generic" internal wiring. Audible differences were likely zero.

Yes, only difference is finish, I own both rb5 and rb5ii and they are an excellent speaker.

Had a chance to listen to a pair of these back in the day....I'd love to own a pair.

"It's just not fair to compare a $200 Polk sub that has been out for a few years to a new $899 Klipsch model that only a handful of people have actually heard."
Well to be fair the lowest price on that Polk sub was $279...

Better integrate with your RF-3's? How could you possibly know that? I have had that mediocre Polk sub and many others. I would bet that the new 10, 12 and 15 Klipsch would beat it in every single test.
That Polk competes with the BIC F-12...
I have tested other Klipsch subs against it. So yes, I do know that to me it sounds better and have found no reason to call it mediocre by any means.
Polk DSWPRO660 not exactly a headline grabbing comparison...
I wasn't aware I was supposed to give you a headline grabbing comparison - I was under the impression I was going to give you the model of the sub I personal find suits my ears better.

Interesting!! Which Polk subs are you using that you feel would better the Klipsch offerings?Yeah, no thanks...I'll stick with my Polks. Have not been a fan of the Reference subs since the RSW series.

That's exactly what I thought when I saw it...I just don't think that is needed in advertising...Sorry.

That's the great thing about statistics...You can use them to get the answer you want...

Yeah, I came across those too, but that's about all you can find on the inter-web. Well for $200 I might just get it from him, it sure is a nice looking bit of kit.

Going for an MG V8 conversion, as per the factory V8, except 3.9 litre...Unfortunately will have to sacrifice the wire wheels....
