  1. I had paint protective film applied to the M3 forward of the front doors including the windshield. Spray with water connected to water softener and the bugs wash away; harder one might take just a finger rub to come off. The PPF and ceramic coating was worth the expense.

  2. When I moved into this place I was perplexed when the back windows had streaks after cleaning. The pool robot’s tail was spraying the salt water pool water on them. Even though it was a salt water pool it was etching the glass. I took lemon halves to scrub the glass which helped a lot and bought a robot that didn’t exhaust the water overboard. I also used lemon to clean the water spots off of my shower glass cubes and door. Give it a try.

  3. Once upon a time I was purchasing a slightly used automobile from a dealer. The finance guy wanted to run my credit report and I wasn't interested in having a hit. We got to talking and was told that the dealership makes a percentage of the financed interest rate for low qualifiers and if buyer has good credit then the dealership gets no cut.

As one that has experienced having "bad" credit I can tell you that you should do all you can (legitimately, the only way is to pay off and pay on time) to get your score up. Finance rates and background checks for employment will hurt you with low scores.

It's a road that is hard but needs to be traveled and WILL pay off. Get the have too not the want too and be frugal.

Sign up / log in to Credit Karma and see what you need to fix. Took me a while but now I try my best to keep in the upper 800s.
    YOU CAN DO IT!

  4. Need to finance a new set of Jubs to replace my underground Jubs.
Yea, you want photos, that will come forthwith (when I get a round tuit) and I know that you are a bunch of cheap skates like me. But I THINK these prices are not too far out of line.
PM if you want to discuss please

    Location is 78414
Price is pickup but I will entertain help (labor) with shipping.

CT-650-T in white new in box (never opened). I used one pair but not the other. $350.00

One pair black KI-396-SMA II. No boxes. Purchased as a trio with the third modified by the factory to be used as a center between the Jubilees. The 'used' pair for sale (yes, I connected them as surrounds for a few minutes) just didn't fit in the room. $2000.00

Cornwall IIIs in walnut ... this is for a set of three. I used all three as the front LCR for surround duty but since moving into the new place with the Jubs one pair is used for my bedroom system and the third is relegated to closet storage...no boxes. $3500.00 for the three

Parasound P-6 preamp and A23+ amp. Have boxes and have been used for approx an hour while I was testing rooms to see if I could make a dedicated Parasound / Jubilee room. I found I didn't have a second room to support that. I have a second A23+ amp that has indeed been used at some gatherings and now power my outdoor speakers but it's not the one offered (just in case you have seen me with these and think oh, that's BS he has used them).  $2000.00 for the P6 and A23+ combo in factory packaging. SOLD

Boxes you ask? Well for 30 plus years I held on to every box for electronics I had purchased. When I bought this place I scrapped everything I didn't have a immediate need for which included boxes out the azz.

Although Generac has increased its output of standby residential generators, incoming orders have exceeded the additional production, Jagdfeld said. The company reported a 28-week backlog

  6. I had a 22K Generac installed. Natural gas required another larger pipe installed. Still waiting on the second transfer switch (125 amp) to arrive; the 200 amp came with the generator. Also awaiting city to install larger gas meter at no charge. I tried to talk my way out of the additional gas but the installer was adamant that in order to perform whole house duties the generator needed more volume. I can't see having the pool heater running, using the gas grill etc, etc during an outage but I did specify WHOLE home. $16k and don't know when the 125 amp switch will arrive. City refuses to sign off on another 200 amp switch which is available.

I think you'll want to add some heavy drapes to the windows to absorb HF reflections.  Then, add gentle eq.

What's in the box on the dolly?

SVS PB 4000. Moving the two around for placement. The window shades are 1” honeycomb cellular. The rug is 3/4” thick.

Someone is in the middle of a mid life crisis.  LOL.  Congrats on the HOG!

Let's just say while looking for a bike for my son I came across a deal that I simply could not refuse. The Road King had been sitting in climate controlled storage for almost 2 years and the owner no longer wanted to pay the storage fees.

  9. Without acoustic measurements (yet, I have to learn that REW thingy) but , in general, where to start in this open room.
From fridge wall to windows is 34'
From wall behind speakers to wall near fireplace is 24'
    Ceiling is 10'
Window treatments are 2" open cell
