  1. OK, I get it, I get it. I'll think of switching to FireFox.
  2. Thanks for the thread, but I guess XStandard doesn't work in Mac OS 10.5.2. It acts like it will work, than when I click post at the bottom, the screen reverts back to the post screen. So I'm stuck for now. Thanks for your efforts, I appreciate it. shift/enter doesn't work either.
  3. I found the xstandard download and installed it. When set to Macintosh, it wont allow me to post. I've gone back to your recommended setting.
  4. I'm on a Mac using Safari. It looks like that requires a special Plug-In that I don't have. I have now changed to Plain Text Editor. Does that work? Nope? I guess you guys did something that made this site not Mac friendly. It used to format just fine. Oh Well??
  5. Thanks for returning my message so soon. Let's see. Should start a new Line here. Nope - A run-on???????
  6. Can someone please tell me why I can't format a post the way I want anymore? I would like to break things up by lines, paragraphs, sometimes web address, etc, and sign my name at the bottom. For about the last month or so, all my posts have been run on sentences, one after the other. No matter what I try I can't separate anything. Why is this happening?---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Lou
  7. There was an eBay auction for a 12" radiator last week. You may want to check with the seller to see is he can help you. The listing is here: http://cgi.ebay.com/KLIPSCH-RSW-12-KD-124-T-REPLACEMENT-PASSIVE-RADIATOR_W0QQitemZ320222550198QQihZ011QQcategoryZ3275QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem lou
  8. Wow - Old thread resurrected with my first post here. I still have the RF82s and ditched the MLs and got the RC-82. I've also added an RW-12d, which IMO, was well needed. I'm a happy camper.-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Lou
  9. So - No sonic benefit - Right?---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Lou
  10. Pun intended! Why do people use a Y-Cable for the LFE Signal from a receiver with one sub RCA out from the receiver. At least the Klipsch manual states to use the left RCA input for the LFE signal from the receiver, and both the left and right for inputs from a pre-amp. Is the "Y" an advantage? My RW-12D seems to be working just fine with a single shielded cable.-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Lou
  11. Me Too!--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Lou
  12. That makes no sense to me. Why does BB carry the RF-82 and hook it up to the RC-52 and not even carry the RC-62. They also carry the RF-62. Makes no sense to me either??????------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Lou
  13. I also bought my RF-82s from BestBuy. Since they don't carry the RC-62, I bought it from an internet reseller. Try and listen to the RC-62 with your speakers, If you can hear a difference, upgrade, if not stay with what you got. But, IMO, you will hear the difference.---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Lou
  14. It's not that one is better sounding than the other, but the sonic match between your fronts and the center. You want your soundstage to be seamless. The RC-35 is designed for use in the earlier Klipsch RF series, and has a horn with slightly different sonic and design characteristics than the RC-62.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Lou
  15. According to the Klipsch literature the description of the horns is slightly different, and the woofers are a different size. As you are aware the RC-62 is supposed to be the correct match for the RF-82s. I have this setup and the soundstage is seamless. Since you already have the RC-52, try it out, and if you feel like you need more, sell it and upgrade to the proper center.___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Lou
  16. Why are you going stereo since you're going to watch movies? 60% of the sound track comes out of the front (center) channel. Without a center speaker, you'll be missing a bunch. At least go for a 3.0 set-up. I have a 3.0, but I just bought an RW-12d to turn it into a 3.1. (My wife refuses to clutter up the house with surround speakers). I have RF-82s and an RC-62. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Lou

    No LFE?

The LFE Input from the receiver is the left RCA channel on your sub. Look at Figure 3 in the back your user manual.
  18. You know what we do here is try and help, and when a solution works or a problem is solved, the problem solver tells us what he did to fix it. Can you fill us in please?
  19. I've had my 680 for a little over a year now. Can't say enough good things about it. Great Stuff. -Lou
  20. As was stated above, if it sounds good to you - than keep what you've got and enjoy. However, sonically the RC-52 is not a perfect match for the RF-62, the RC-62 is. I had the same issue as you with my RF-82s. Again, sonically the RC-62 is a match for the horn on the RF-82. I got my RF-82s from Best Buy, but they don't sell the RC-62, only the RC-52. I ended up buying an RC-62 on the web, and my soundstage is seamless. Lou
  21. I have the RF-82/RC-62 combo and they sound great. For me the soundstage is seamless. As was suggested above, pull them out from the wall more. Lou
  22. Check out this thread: http://forums.klipsch.com/forums/p/92087/935006.aspx#935006
  23. On the flip side of that coin. My wife has a Toyota Camry. Camry's are made in the USA and Japan. If you were buying one, what would your choice of origin be? Both models are designed in the same place and are supposed to be the same. Well, I chose the one made in Japan. I just believe the quality's better. The Japanese are teaching us how to build cars. There is one visual difference, the Japanese model has a cover for a tow hook in the front bumper, the one made in the USA doesn't. Back in 1993, I as helping my brother buy a car for his wife, a new Honda Accord. We had the same choice. We chose the Japanese car. She's still driving it today. So, IMO, things can be made to any quality level you desire, if you have the money. This means the proper facilities, proper design, proper management, properly trained workers and etc. Amy, I disagree with you. A product should be labeled with the company of manufacture not with the country that design's or tests the product. BTW, I am very happy with my Chinese RF-82s Lou
  24. The RF-83 and RF-63 are in fact made in the USA (Hope). The RF-82 on down are made overseas. My RF-82s do in fact say Made in China on the back. Lou
