Light beer is for people who don't like the taste of beer but likes to pee alot.

I will stick to my home and craft brew since I like the taste of beer but don't like to pee alot.

I used to be a beer snob as well, I would tell people that once I am done with my 6 pack of IPAs I can pee in the bottles and offer them a beer, but that was in my early 20s.  After gaining 30 lbs sitting in the basement drinking 12 packs of IPAs on Saturday nights, I decided to only keep kegged Miller Lite in normal rotation with the occasional craft beer, homebrew beer.  I do keep a beer fridge stocked with a variety of craft beers.

  2. Im 40 and was a Lego fanatic.  I still have all of mine which are currently at my cousin's house being reassembled to their glory.  The King's Castle number 6080 was my first set, my cousin is currently sourcing pieces needed to make it complete.

That is a pretty sweet unit (disclaimer: I am something of a Marantz fanboy), and still using my trusty old SR5008. Mazel Tov!

I figured it made since, SR5015 AVR for the living room, AV7704 with all the features I want for the multipurpose room, Marantz and Klipsch, two icon names in the industry in this house.  I am scheduled to receive it today; I think I will see how it sits on a rack shelf as opposed to a rack mount kit.

I did identify that the Integra HDMI board is more than likely the culprit.  Apparently, I could remove it and bake it in the oven to get it to work.  Though I wouldn't be out any money and I do have a newer unit on the way, I don't feel like wasting time on something over 10 years old.

I was hoping to upgrade the multipurpose room to 4k this year, maybe this is the start.

Only issue now is that I have to find a multichannel amp for the surround sound.  If I spend $350 on 2 channels, I might as well spend $550 for 6-8 channels.  But then I will be forced to finally add 4-6 channels of surround sound speakers that I previously wired for.   This hobby gets expensive.

Are they really that good? I’ve not had the opportunity.

To be honest, me neither and I can see how my comment could be miss leading.  I just really love the looks of these speakers.  Always been a dream of mine to hear them.

Local police would be for theft. You start putting fraud in there you substantially increase the chance that it gets kicked for being a civil suit. Paid for parts, cash sent to (address there) never received parts, repeated requests, parts or a refund, delay, delay. Gave deadline. Nothing.

I'd take him to Judge Judy. Just have your documents in order and say nothing. I've watched her show enough to know how to win at this.

If loosening and tightening the screws, which is really just done to ensure a good connection - didn’t bring the highs back - then you should probably just go ahead and replace the capacitors.

All joking aside and maybe it's not relevant, but when I was replacing the capacitors in my Is last weekend, I noticed I was able to get another 1/8th of turn on each screw on the terminal strip.  Is this normal, could I be over tightening them, is it possible that some expansion from some heat then cooling to cause this looseness?  Maybe I'm thinking too much into this.  It just reminded me of a house I owned that the previous owner crammed aluminum wire in with copper and over time the connection came loose and caught fire.

  7. I think she has an idea, probably thinks more than what I've actually spent.  I have told her how much everything cost minus my K402s.  She knows the first set of Heresy in her office are the most sentimental.  I would hope the kids would want 2 out of the 3 systems.  As long as it's not Cornwall's, she could give away the rest, but something tells me regardless of what happens, I wouldn't know any different.

    Like the port plugs......lol

    Guaranteed clean contacts!

Yeah, at first, I was like WTF, but it reflects how he takes care of stuff.  I mean, where does one even get those made?  He also had all the original packing and responded quicker.

  9. Just made a deal with someone for a Marantz AV7704.  Hopefully I have it by next weekend.   There is some hardware that's less superior such as the DAC and transformer than the AV8802a, but there are some slightly better software packages that it comes with right out of the box.  Plus it was $400 less.
