I enjoy the sound that my ACA/Heresy Combo creates. Even with that being said, with your set up, I'd be intrigued to try a full digital setup with a ROON ready DAC to the Xilica, then the Xilica to some high-end digital amps such as Cyruss or alike.

They are to be installed in my Heresy II speaker stands
That sounds like an interesting project.

How many non forum members know about GotHover's tractrix horns?
I believe he was popular on Audiokarma as well.

I don't think those were mine (I sold mine to a forum member in Cali, then sold to a forum member @Cool Ohm), but I once had some Eliptrac 400s that were molded into the grill frame that I had purchased from JWC.

I can do that? What part of Omaha do you live?
The Heresy's that I refinished have been made at home in Omaha... As well as my Klipsch sonosub.
Technically not it Omaha, but in Papillion which is a stone's throw south. I work and enjoy life all over this great city, Gretna, Elkhorn, Ralston, etc. I used to work in Lincoln for about 4.5 years.
I see you've been a member since 2004, wonder why we need put the dots together?

I lived in Omaha from 2008-2016. My wife grew up in Greeley and about half of that town is her family. I get out to Nebraska many times a year.

JBL 2450
I believe they may have a better phase plug (so i've read on the world wide web) than the 2446 and you can get Beryllium Truextent diaphragms.

Omaha and Greeley.
I live in Omaha and one of our outside haulers is from Greeley, not much to do in Greeley other than visiting family.

@The Dude Get it set up yet or still needing amp(s)?
After a long week of painting the rack and re wiring everything, I finally got everything hooked up and somewhat operational. I still have few things before the rack is fully shoved into the closet, after which I'll focus on fine tuning the system.
So far everything is working great and sounding great. Right out of the gate there's a lot of improvement with the higher preamp voltage. As for surround duty I'm currently using one of Parasound zone amps until I find a multi-channel that I can afford.

You must pack stuff to survive a 20ft. fall. That's how high the plane cargo bay is when they throw it off into the truck carrier.

Thats one of fedex's stipulations and request that.

Take lots of pictures when you pack.
I do as well, if it's a rare item, then I pack or find a better way to ship. If it's something that can be replaceable, I let them handle it. Some or hit or miss. I let them wrap some Eliptrac horns from Dave Harris, they did a fantastic job, and everything arrived safely.

Have you done a thread on those finishes...? (Send a Link)
You might want to grab a pot or two of coffee for that one.

If you have the mounting plates, why not just set it on top of the Lascala? This is what I did with my DIY Belle and K402s. I will have to dig up a picture, but it just sets on top and hangs off the back.

I've got my eye on a couple, but may have to get by with one of my zone amps for now.
Since i ordered a rack kit, I also decided to paint my rack and redo all the wiring, so everything is torn apart. Probably be another week or so, hopefully the weekend of the 18th.

FedEx wont typically cover it unless they pack it. Now if I offer shipping and someone wants a quote, its FedEx and their packing service. Unless its completely non replaceable, then maybe personal delivery is best.

If only I had a bigger room, I could replace the center and surrounds in my Heritage Jubilee setup with these.
That would be nuts.

Are these yours? Odd that there is 3 of them with the DSP sitting in storage. I would have thought at one point they would have belonged to a member. @Paducah Home Theater I'm not sure if your allowed to say if you know, but I wouldn't be surprised if you sold these.

My wife now knows what I spent on my new to me AV7704, let's just say I was asking for forgiveness.

I've never been a beer snob myself. I just like beers with some flavor.
On the other hand, I pretty much totally quit drinking in July. I dropped 10 pounds, which has brought me to 135. I may still have one in a while but decided I'm better off not having them.
I did the dry January, thought about taking it into February/March to see where it takes me.

I second this. Looking at what you get, the price isn't bad. If one was a purist and wanted all original with the look, it would still be worth the price for the craftsmanship then swap the components with originals if you desire. If I was in the market, I wouldn't hesitate.
