So, thinking back to the original question about tradeoff of horn loudspeakers, I'd say the #1 tradeoff is just size. And this becomes dramatically true in a full range horn system.
I agree with this statement, size is the only downfall.

Very nice buy, they will fill your yard with clean sounds.
Glad everything worked out, Mike is a great guy.

Why not just use your wire strippers to reduce your ends to 14 gauge wire, then solder the ends to prevent shorts.
No need to buy fancy connectors.

Auto subs are designed for a 50 Hz. peak. NOT high fi, just designed to make sure hearing aid sales will go way up in 30 years while pissing everyone off today.
Absolutely, no need to tune low.
Cabin gain starts at a higher frequency in such a small space.

For $400 you best look for something used, scan your local c-list, if DIY is an option you open up lots of possibilities.
-
Building a soffit to conceal your subs is an option but make sure you're willing to live with a minimum subtraction of 18" from your current ceiling height before you even start your demo work.

Even the frosting looks nice.

I just throw my leftover coffee in the fridge and make iced coffee out of it, keeps for a few days then.

You can probably buff that out with some rubbing compound, no worries.

Damned John Deere push mower won't start.....well it starts and runs till the gas in the primer is spent then cuts off. No kids around that like to work for money....parents just fork it over! Repair shop hasn't called back.
May be just a stuck float, give the carb a few taps with a hammer.

Morning folks, yes time for coffee. Not to much relaxing this morning as I have to go help my aunt move. But not much planned after that, I may be pickling some cucumbers tomorrow. So I need to get some stuff together for that.
We passed on the cucumbers this year for some reason and planted more peppers.
I like to pickle stuff, zesty pickles with a little heat are my favorites.

Lots of great oddballs around me too but prices are through the roof.
They must have a attachment to them and not really want to sell.

Not exactly but is a port tuned horn loaded bass bin that's been around for some time.

Where would you need that much output besides a large nightclub or pro sound applications ?
Would it not be more about the quality of sound and the way your system blends together more than anything ?

Looks like you just created a boat load of room to accommodate multiple horn subs.
Sketchup model looks great by the way.
